Welcome to the Ways to Wellbeing radio show. I'm your host, Miriam Henke, & today's topic is Addiction and Recovery. I chat with Sue McPherson, program director of the Bel-Mar Treatment Program, who shares her own story of addiction, recovery & how others can overcome this destructive disease. This show is for those who are in the grips of this disease, those who love them, & for practitioners who work in the field of addiction.
The Bel-Mar treatment philosophy holds the belief that recovery involves a combination of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Merely ceasing the addictive behaviour will not bring long term recovery.
The Bel-Mar treatment program specialises in addiction treatment for adults with both substance (alcohol, illicit and prescription drugs), & behavioural addictions (gambling, sex, spending, gaming, relationships). Sue gives details about their 3 stage program structure.
The area which sets this program apart from other rehabs is the focus on the root cause of the problem, investigating why there has been the need to use substances and behaviours to mood alter. Family & friends are also important - there are programs and services to help them too.
Connect with Sue at firstname.lastname@example.org and/or visit Bel-Mar's website at: www.bel-mar.com.au

I have seen and heard Spirits as far back in my life as I can remember. My earliest recolection I believe was three or four years old. As an adult, I was blessed to have found the greatest teacher to help me develop my gifts and use them not only help myself but others as they travel their path. I am a Tarot Reader, Dream Interpreter, and Direct Connect Reader for nearly five years, and I am still growing and expanding my gifts every day. The greatest treasure in life is knowledge, and in this lifetime there can never be too much knowledge.

Dreams are gateways to other worlds, places, and times. They are sacred portals in which we receive messages from Source, and they hold these powerful messages in the form of symbols brought to us by our dream guide and the angels. Melissa Virtue, coauthor with Doreen Virtue of the new book Angel Dreams, is here to discuss where dreams come from, who to call upon for dream guidance, the angels associated with dreams, and basic symbols and color meanings. You'll discover techniques and tools to enhance your dream time, including ways to remember content upon awakening. In addition, you'll learn to identify various types of dreams by reading personal dreams and their general interpretations. This interview originally aired on Empower Radio.
