Kevin Hunter and David Ford and joined in studio by Melissa Rupar to talk about weightloss, and it's similarities to goals and objectives in business.
A key element to any successful venture, whether it be weightloss or business, is that it cannot be optional. If you haven't recognized that the goal you have is something that is not negotiable, the results you get from your efforts will always be scattered... and the goal is often not reached.
Hear Melissa Rupar's journey to losing weight, and discover how your journey in business has similar elements.

Rambo Lybrand and the new beautiful co-hostess "Prissy Missy" Melissa Osmundson kick off a show about prepping on a shoe string budget. It seems many people have a big misconception about what it takes to put together a good store of food, water and other essentials. I also have special guest Michael Keigans who has been masterminding making long term prep buckets that wont break the bank. Between the 3 of us we should have a ton of information to share and we will be taking callers after the guest time at 646-727-2638. Remember Prep is nothing but an insurance policy you store in the home. You dont have to be of the doomsday mindset or rich to have one.

What if your clients could achieve their retirement savings goals while simultaneously enjoying the journey? Saving doesn't have to be a cheerless chore. With purposeful spending, it's possible to achieve a balance whereby goals are being met, and taking those dream vacations is still possible.
Listen as Ellen Rogin talks with Melissa Tosetti, author of "Living the Savvy Life," about the key tenets of purposeful spending. Few things make as big of a difference in clients' lives as sound cash flow planning, and few advisors go deep enough.

Melissa Cronin was strolling through the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market when an elderly man lost control of his car and barreled into the crowd. That changed her life forever. Now Melissa lives with ‘invisible bruises.” But Melissa picked up the pieces and is embarking on a new career. Read her interview on Surviving Traumatic Brain Injury to find out what it is and check out her story, “Invisible Bruise” in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College plans, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slip from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating. But as Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." Life is all about choices!
