After 25 years as a practicing medical doctor, Charles F. Glassman, dubbed ‘Coach MD’ came to the realization that many of his patients who were dealing with chronic diseases, had a common denominator as the root cause of their health issue. Internalizing the improper interpretation of life events and allowing the unrelenting stress to undermine the immune system and wreak havoc in their body systems.
Charles Glassman, MD is the author of Brain Drain: The Breakthrough that Will Change your Life, he specializes in personalized, patient focused care, with an emphasis on wellness and prevention. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, from Hobart College in Geneva, NY. He graduated from New York Medical College and completed his Internship and Residency at Montefiore Medical Center and Westchester County Medical Center. Over the years he has seen the shift of medical practices from patient focused to problem focused; from health care to sick care.
As a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Life Extension Foundation member, Dr. Glassman approaches medicine in an integrative manner, looking carefully at all traditionally approved methods while recognizing the power of unconventional therapies. Throughout his career, Dr. Glassman has seen mainstream medicine discredit some of these unconventional approaches, only to endorse them years later. First, RevKess and KaliSara would like to apologize for their floating schedule for PWN. Seems that real life keeps creeping in the way of scheduling things during the week. But at least they can still manage to find an hour here and there to share Pagan perspectives on news and issues that are of interest to the Pagan world.
Second, with the idea of confusing schedules comes the concept for this episode. Most of the world is floating in a state of confusion about many different issues that have impact on Pagans and non-Pagans alike. What is ISIL's intent in the Middle East and elsewhere? How is the medical community addressing the ongoing pandemics of HIV/AIDS? What do our world leaders really want for the future? That and so much more is being bandied about by politicos, professionals, journalists and armchair activists. In this episode of PWN your hosts will attempt to tackle some of those questions and float around to other similar topics.
Third, KaliSara and RevKess always welcome comments and questions regarding the programming on PMPChannel. Feel free to drop them a note at firstname.lastname@example.org.
