An Elder Care Attorney Isn't in Case You Die, It's In Case You Don't

    in Caregiving

Join Dave Nassaney, The Caregiver's Caregiver, as he interviews Elder Care Attorney, Christopher J. Berry, Esq. Certified Elder Law Attorney.

Estate Planning and Elder Law is not an area for a “generalist.”  Your quality of life and your life’s work is more important than that.  It is important to work with a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA).  The CELA designation is the GOLD STANDARD in estate planning and elder law.

The clients that we work with value the peace of mind,  that their goals are being met with the absolute latest in legal strategies to protect assets and preserve quality of life and care.  These are only available when working with a Certified Elder Law Attorney. Any attorney can say they “do estate planning or elder law”, but only CELAs can say they are the top 1% of estate planning and elder law attorneys.  Michigan Elder Law Attorney, Christopher J. Berry, Esq., was the second youngest attorney in the country to become a CELA.

To accomplish our clients goals, we utilize a variety of legal and financial strategies to protect your assets and help ensure you receive the care you need today or in the future. Asset preservation is the name of the game. We want to protect your hard earned assets from probate, long-term care costs, and taxes.

We call upon various governmental benefits to help pay the catastrophic cost of long-term care, including VA benefits and Medicade.

    Social Program and Immigration Reform

    in Politics

Paul Ryan has proposed a new reform to social programs.  Group them all into one federal grant distributed amongst the states.  He does not intend to cut any money from the programs.  Could this have bipartisan support?  How do the republicans feel about this?  Do Americans like the idea?  Immigration reform is hot topic in America.  In our mock government we have pushed through our first immigration reform bill that provides a pathway to citizenship.  Will the president sign in?  What's next on the agenda?  Answers to all of these questions and more on tonight's episode of the Current Issues Show.

All Policies Good and Bad are the Direct Results of People Speaking Up

    in Politics

Whatever things lacking in USA society today for the masses are the results of groups of people speaking up for their identified causes. And because people have stood up against benefits to the masses benefits, laws have been passed that directly come against the masses and specific groups in the masses.

Whatever have been made available to the citizenery in USA today is the direct result of what people have stood up for and spoke out for and or against. Laws will only be passed when people stand up for their needs and desires of today and of the decades to come.

There are things the citizenery will lose unless millions of people actually speak out, stand up in whatever capacity available. The law makers are elected officials. The bill writers are ALEC. The SCOTUS has the final say. It is time to claim every opportunity this land offers it's citizenery. Corrupt greedy politicians and CEOs are stripping Americans of things too many citizens are taking for granted. This is the politics of our society.

The average citizen is not involved in politics except for 2-3 months before a general election. There are enough of us who know exactly what's wrong and we know what it takes to fix it. We must boldly speak out and save all that is good, and add to it. The mid term election is used by older Americans to take society back to yesteryear. We have no need to go back to serving rich white male. Those days stroked egos but didn't even benefit the rich white male. Having power is not the way to sustain a thriving USA. This midterm, Nov 2014 people who need and depend on #birth control, #jobs, #affordable medical care, #VA benefits, #Unemployment benefits, #social security, #medicare, #medicade, must register in August and #VoteDems2014. These things are on the table of extinction,  if people who needs these fail to register and vote for these issues.

    Recovery Now With Kim Justus...GARFAN

    in Social Networking

My guest tonight is one of the generous composers who have allowed us to play his original music on Brain Injury Radio. I didn't know when we connected, that fate would have an even deeper reason to connect him here. Listen to Dale Haye's story about his wife's double aneurysm, the ruthless insurance maze, and the tragic outcome that was produced. It could happen to any of us, and it's sinful.
    His site is: www.garfan.com.
