    Adversity and Meaningful Living

    in Business

Join Dr. Cheryl Cottle and her guest Mercedes Dash as they talk about Meaningful Living and how it is sometimes achieved by transitioning. Sometimes we have to go through many stages of change to eventually achieve the peace and life that we want. To ensure that life is worth living, one must live a meaningful life. To achieve that life, one sometimes has to transition. Transitioning or changing becomes a part of the process of growth and development. For some transitioning is a continuous process until you reach that point of self-actualization — where you know yourself, value your self-worth and love who you are.
When adversity hit Mercedes due to the loss of her family’s business, Mercedes decided to look deeply into herself to find out was heart-centered and soul-filling for her. Taking care of children was her love and passion having brought up 4 sons and taken care of her seven grand-children. Mercedes also went back to college where she took a course in Early Childhood Development to better prepare her for her role in education. Mercedes is also a serial-entrepreneur recently opening  an in-home preschool and childcare. In September of this year Mercedes added a new business; a children’s party business which is named Children’s Party to Go.

Summing up: Meaningful Living, Purposeful Living and Authentic Living

    in Business

Join Dr. Cheryl Cottle on Women in Business Radio as she sums up her segment on: What is Meaningful Living and Purposeful Living and Authentic Living. Has these words or attribute or attitudes resonated with you? Have you wondered how it they can be acquired - -  just one of these "soul filling attributes" more so all of them? Have you tried to "be" and received resistance from those who are close to you as well as your community and your wider society in which you were born? Were you able acept the gift of "being you" without oposition? Could you be different? Was difference accepted? This remind me of a movie I saw a few evenings ago with with my grand-boys Miles and Matt, called Beauty and the Beast. The main character Bell was different, and was seen by some or most of the people as an "odd ball". Join Dr. Cottle on Women in Business Radio at 11:00 am. What will add more to the summary will be your questions. Just call in and state yu opinion or ask a question. You to can be a part of the radio show.
