Fear (False evidence of appearing real)

Fear is the #1 reason women do not know who they truly are.  Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.  They are fearful to find their true selves because they may discover they do not like who they truly are.  They fear greatly they would lose the crutch of holding on to all of their baggage because this is the only thing they have ever known.  Our goal is to move them to have faith in themselves and let go of their fear.  We will show them how fear can paralyze someone from moving forward in every areas of their lives.

    Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a very hard thing to do when someone has hurt you.  Forgiveness is the key to opening up a new world waiting for you.  Once someone realizes they can let go of their fear and begin to make peace with their past, they will learn how to move into the area of unforgiveness with themselves and others to the beautiful thing called forgiveness.  They will no longer blame the situation or person who may have caused them the damaged emotions.  Once they forgive, they can learn how to be free.

Al Pacino Double Feature and Favorite Performances

    in Movies

Host Betty Jo Tucker reviews Danny Collins and Manglehorn, two recent movies starring Oscar-winner Al Pacino. Plus, noted film critics James Colt Harrison and Diana Saenger drop by to talk about their favorite Pacino movies and performances. Considered by many to be one of the greatest actors in all of film history, Pacino began his movie career in Me, Natalie, a 1969 motion picture starring Patty Duke, Elsa Lancaster and James Farentino. He now boasts over 50 acting credits on IMDb. His awards include a Best Actor Academy Award for Scent of a Woman and additional Oscar nominations for Dog Day Afternoon, Glengarry Glen Ross, Dick Tracy, The Godfather, Serpico, And Justice For All and Godfather: Part II.

2015 has been a very good year for Pacino. His impressive performances in Manglehorn and Danny Collins are winning rave reviews. He nails both characters and makes viewers care what happens to them despite the many mistakes they’ve made in the past. Manglehorn’s destructive obsession and Danny Collins’ relentless search for redemption seem so real because of Pacino’s ability to get inside each man’s heart and soul.

I am here to do readings for you.   I will tune in to you, just give me your first name and the state you are calling from.    I can either start, or if I need a moment or two more to "get" your energy, I may start by asking if you have a question.   I can give you a lot of information in a short time,  and with this format there may not be a lot of time for discussion,   as I like to respect the other callers that are waiting for their time.        Please limit your sample reading to one per person and contact me away from the show for additional readings.    See you on the radio.

Next Level Radio welcomes Willam Hollis

    in Christianity

Join us Monday, August 3rd at 8pmcst/9pmest to hear the story of tragedy to triumph. William Hollis will be with us to tell his story and his dream. Dial in at 323 693 3830 or logon to blogtalkradio.com/niacomplatform. Next Level Radio with Teirrany and Spence.

    William Hollis
The story of William Hollis is more about persevering through life than it is about football. Hollis, who hopes to find his way into an NFL camp this summer, is the ultimate underdog. His story, and his determination, make him impossible not to root for.

    ? TWEET (235) ?SHARE (71)
William Hollis may never make it in the NFL. If he does, however, Hollis has led the kind of life that someone will turn into a movie.

Hollis, 23, is a 6-foot-1, 245-pound linebacker/defensive end who last played for Tuskegee University, which plays in the Division 2 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. He began his career at Clark Atlanta, also a member of the SIAC. To say Hollis' life has taken several detours along his road to trying to earn the attention of NFL teams is an understatement.

You don't so much interview Hollis as you simply turn on the recorder, ask him to tell his story and then just get out of the way and listen.

Hollis has played only one season of football since 2009, and that as a reserve who barely saw the field for Tuskegee in 2012. He claims the Tuskegee coaching staff there refused to play him because, though he walked on and earned a scholarship, they had not recruited him.
'I KNOW I COME FROM NUTHIN', BUT I'M NOT NUTHIN'
    - WILLIAM HOLLIS
Our interview started with me asking Hollis if, considering where he is coming from, making the NFL was realistic. From there, the William Hollis Experience began.

"I think it's very realistic. I had a workout with the Toronto Argonauts going against about four different NFL-caliber tackles that played one year, two years in the NFL

  • The Testimony of a Marred Vessel

    in Christianity

The God I serve is perfect and flawless in all His ways. He has taught me to be the person who He has called me to be. I refuse to let people plan out my course in life. I have been disrespected in so many ways, where people tried to make me "water down" the gospel. I have had former pastors at my former church tell me I'm "too bold" or "too convicting". I have been verbally and physically threatened by pastors at my former church. I have seen favortism and recycling of use of other ministers behind the pulpit. I have been denied to help out in certain ministries because my personality was too strong. I heard the word of the Lord say to me in Luke 4: 18, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free." God is asking us, in the words of Janet Jackson, "What have you done for Me lately?" I hope to get everything I have to say concerning my life in 30 minutes or so off my chest. (Probably not, 30 min. may not be enough time) You may not like what I have to say, but I have to keep it 100% real.
