    Talking Bigfoot and Art with Maz Adams

    in Science

    Tonight! - Wednesday  April 22nd - 5pm PST / 8pm EST

    CryptoLogic Radio - Episode 48 - Maz Adams.

    Join hosts Shane Corson and Shelly Covington as they talk Bigfoot and Art with Maz Adams. Maz has been a life long Bigfoot enthusiast who has began delving into the research aspect of the Sasquatch phenomena, and  who has been recently accepted as a member of the NSRS ( Northern Sasquatch Research Society ). Maz Adams is also a professional artist and he has recently created a wonderful piece for the upcoming Ohio Bigfoot Conference. So please join us for an enlightening and interesting show!

    Maz Adams (Matthew Zucker)-

    Maz Adams is a 28 year old life long Bigfoot enthusiast and professional artist from the quiet  mountains of Northwestern NJ. Although a newbie when it comes to being a field researcher, he has spent over twenty years of his young life devoted to studying and loving the subject of Bigfoot. He enjoys doing Comic and Horror conventions where he has met so many amazing fans who make him realize how lucky he is to do what he does. Full credit must go to his parents for always encouraging him to follow his passion, and the love of his life Danielle for always reminding him of the man he wants to be ( but mostly for putting up w his Bigfoot obsession).

    I can be reached at this email for commission inquiries. Also please check out my Instagram @mazadamsart. Follow my Facebook page "The Art of Adams" for commissions, new art and convention announcements. Just search The Art of Maz Adams on Facebook.

    Billboard R & B List, Thai Race Ad & Pulp Culture-The Grindhouse, Sat@6pm

    in Politics Conservative

    Hey!  We're back!  Check out the latest episode of Afronerd Radio's Grindhouse podcast, airing this Saturday at 6pm EST.  Join Dburt, Capt. Kirk and the "Uncanny" Daryll B. as they unfurl the following pop/pulp and political mysteries: Okayplayer.com Managing Editor, Kevin Clark returns to discuss the honesty of Billboard's Top 35 R & B Artists of All Time list; does the cancellation of TNT's live action Teen Titans series represent the saturation point many geeks fear with popular superhero TV translation properties?; as the new Star Wars film tracks to surpass Avatar as the high grossing film (ever!), its director, J.J. Abrams responds to criticism that his film is just a repackaged episode #4-New Hope (and there's a petition for George Lucas' return in the works); our impressions of a skin bleaching ad from Thailand that has gone viral and enraged social media; and in more racism is the new drug news, Maine governor, Paul LePage backtracks on racially tinged remarks he made while addressing his state's growing heroin addiction/trafficking problems; is Beyonce really aiming to make the Hottentot Venus story?;

    Netflix does it AGAIN-discussing the Black 70s period drama enitiled, The Get Down; Shadow and Act highlights the concept of hyper-tokenism via Lupita Nyongo's Maz character in Star Wars: the Force Awakens.

    And lastly, a recent Black Nerd Problems piece waxes about how some perceive Black authenticity by having familiarity with HBO's The Wire.  Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620,
