City plays games with public records.
Coming up …former City Councilman Bruce Frohman
Before the average citizen can know what’s happening with their government information must be sanitized or massaged and then run through the filter of the local newspaper.
City staff provides information to the City Council who must then discover what information was not being revealed.
One of former Mayor Carmen Sabatino’s tactics was to ask staff questions that he already knew the answer to.
In fact, chief executive officer for the County at the time, Reagan Wilson lied at a city Council meeting in response to one of the Mayor’s questions.

Janie has been recognized for her excellence in music through winning an Emmy for her songwriting; a Grammy for the fine arts program she helped direct at East High School in Anchorage, Alaska; the Mayor’s Arts Award which recognizes excellence in music education; and, a spot on the George Lucas Edutopia website for her role in helping make the world a better place.
As a music teacher in the public schools of Alaska for over two decad...es, Janie Lidey taught students from over forty different cultures. Not only did she teach them to sing and play the guitar, she taught them to live their lives with passion, kindness, love, hope and gratitude. The most important lesson was to instill the belief in her students that they could do anything they dreamed or imagined.

She released her first book and companion CD in 2013 called, The Magic of A Song and is excited to connect with people from all ages and walks and shine some love & light on their journey.

Vote Like We Remember Ferguson:
How do we organize ourselves POLITICALLY right now and into the future such that we put a permanent halt to this chronic open season on Black People. From the Zimmermans to the Police all the way up the chain of command. What questions are we asking our candidates? What candidates are we fielding? How are we holding them accountable? What measures do we desire to be put in place? How are we tacking their records? Are we doing our homework or just taking their word?

The US Supreme Court has refused to hear the case of Bronx Household Of Faith. This statement is heard from co-chair of Right To Worship Rev. William Devlin "Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has denied our writ in Bronx Household, we will go humbly to Mayor DiBlasio asking him to change the NYC Department of Education policy-the mayor as public advocate marched with us in 2012, we hope and pray he remembers his commitment to faith-based institutions."
