And so many much needed skills to be a Human Being, to be a person. Once the brain is scrambled by a TBI or any brain injury, COPING SKILLS indeed get scrambled too, as the brain is our make up. Coping Skills, taught soon following my Severe TBI of 7-years ago, is what way of life I MUST try to live, to be able to live life on life's terms. With out it, there is no Matt Duffin. The shell left of myself would roll, crack and break on a constant basis. With Coping Skills, we learn to make good of the bad, and make the bad go away.

The Bears took a step backwards in their preseason loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The defense has tons of holes, and the offensive line is a nightmare. Jay Cutler is the least of Bears fans' worries right now.
The Washington Redskins announced that Kirk Cousins, not Robert Griffin III, will be their starting quarterback Week 1. Is RG3 done in DC? Will ownership & the coaching staff find common ground? I welcome in a Redskins expert to discuss.
The Cubs only managed a 2-4 record on their west coast trip, and the 2 wins both came from Jake Arrieta. Just how close has his recent stretch brought him to the leaders in the Cy Young conversation?

Did Christ teach the disciples or command them to Tithe and if he did, where are the scriptures located in the 4 Gospels and Epistles
Many people say that they are born again, saved or they are married to Christ. The question is, which Christ are they referring to? Christ himself tells us in Matt. 24:4 - 5, "And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying , I am Christ; and shall deceive many". Paul also tells us in 2 Cor. 11:4, "For he that cometh preacheth another Jesus whom we have not preached". So, if this great deception that was prophesied has taken place, and it has, how do we know which Christ to follow? We welcome you to join us, as we examine the scriptures to see if you really know Christ. That is, if you can handle the truth.

in Rock Music
Lancaster, Pennsylvania is the sort of town of which there are many hundred all across America: post-industrial, blue collar and, on occasion, more than a little bleak. As is so often the case though, it is in these relative backwards towns that authentic, compelling creativity truly thrives - the monotony of the landscape punctuated by brilliant flares of art. FROM ASHES TO NEW are one such flare; a thoroughly modern rock band wielding both a state-of-the-art sound and an old-as-the-hills work ethic. Formed barely two years ago by vocalist, programmer and creative mastermind Matt Brandyberry, the sextet consists of the cream of Lancaster’s underground scene. With the assistance of producer Grant McFarland, FATN set about molding their rap/rock hybrid into a sky-scrapingly monolithic proposition. And if recent four-track EP Downfall was a glistening opening gambit, then the forthcoming full-length album will radiate with the fire of a thousand suns. A fearsome mix of contemporary metalcore crunch and soul-searching rap, the band are already punching with a heavyweight strength that belies their so far brief career. It’s a potent approach galvanized further by the background from which the band all come from. Blessed with honesty, integrity, grit, determination and, most vitally, a genuinely devastating arsenal of gut-mangling tunes – FROM ASHES TO NEW have got all the ingredients to turn your world, and the entire scene, on its head. For more information, visit fromashestonew.com and pick up a copy of their EP Downfall featuring the hit single 'Through It All.'
One of the more frequent criticisms we get about this show is that we're far too generic; we don't focus on any one particular niche. While that may be viewed as a hinderance, we feel it's one of our strengths. We're not limited to any one specific topic, niche or style of broadcast. We're not limited by a narrow genre or topic and can cover whatever crosses our hairs any given week. We're a smorgasbord of information and entertainment that you won't find on any other network. We are the voice of and for the voiceless.
That said, this week, we're putting our unique spin on the events of the past week. We'll discuss the Roanoke shooting and have a few laghs at the current presidential race. We'll hear a little about matt's recent stand up shows and what's coming up. Of course, the phones will be open for you to join in the converswation.
In the "We will probably not do an e-mail show ever again" edition, Jeffrey and Steve answer seventeen of your e-mails. There's a bullpen tryptich, a duo of Matt Harvey, and we officially end our hiatus from discussing Daniel Murphy's contract status. Oh, there's also a trilogy of Wilmer Flores questions, a prospect pronunciation guide, an anecdote about Jeffrey's college pro wrestling days, and of course, a query about an obsccure short-season player. The Mets also made a trade, so I guess we have to talk about that too. Sigh.
