"The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli returns. However, this is not the average everyday sports show he is bringing back to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" of sports at its best.
This week is a special epsiode of The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab, as at 10pm, he welcomes Kansas City Royals legend Willie Mays Aikens into the lab. Aikens was once one of the most feared hitters of the late 1970' and early 1980's with the Royals, helping lead Kansas City to the AL pennant in 1980. However, drugs overcame him, and he ended up in prison for almost 20 years. However, since his release in 2008, Aikens has has spoken at schools about his experiences and to the Royals’ young players, always hoping to return to baseball. In November 2008, apologized to Royals fans and the people of Kansas City in the Kansas City Star. In 2011, he returned to the Royals Family in the organization, and has since wrote a book about his rise, fall and rebirth "Safe At Home". As an extra added attraction, JP Muzio, former host of The Sports Ministry and Off The Wall, will be joining me on the interview.
Also appearing this week - 1030pm, Andrew Garda of NJ.com and Bleacher Report to talk some New Jersey college sports (Rutgers, Seton Hall and more); 11pm, Derek Helling of Outside Pitch MLB returns to preview the American League West; 1130pm, Matt Zemek of The Student Section to talk some NCAA Basketball and a Preview to March Madness.
The beacons are lit, the experiments are set, and "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab" is open for study!!!

Can we move past the frugal winter and be optimistic about the Mets? The guys discuss. Hear them remember the late former Knicks forward, Anthony Mason
It's time for another Pitt-focused installment of City of Champions Radio, as host Matt Gajtka welcomes staff writer Brett Tunno to discuss the Panthers men's basketball team. It's been a down year by Jamie Dixon's standards, but Pitt still has a shot at squeezing into the NCAA tournament for the third straight season - and 13th time in 14 years. Who has impressed and who has disappointed for these Panthers, who have rallied to win six of eight and have three regular-season games remaining before the crucible of the ACC tournament.
When His disciples asked in amazement about the great stones of their temple being thrown to the ground, Jesus answered questions about the Temple's destruction and His coming at the "end."
This discourse is commonly known as the "Olivet Discourse"; covering two full chapters, Matthew 24 & 25.
Rather than take the "popular" position that this discourse was about two separate "comings" of Jesus, Rod will present the view that Jesus only had in mind His coming to pour out God's wrath upon Jerusalem and all the Jews in order to fulfill prophecy and bring their covenant with Him to an irreversible end in AD 70.
Consistency and continuity of prophecy and fulfillment are keys to grasping Jesus' intent in this discourse.
