Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia
Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) occurs when the diaphragm fails to form or to close totally and an opening allows abdominal organs into the chest cavity. This inhibits lung growth.
CDH occurs in approximately 1 in every 2,500 births (1,600 cases in the U.S. each year). The diaphragm is formed in the first trimester of pregnancy and controls the lungs' ability to inhale and exhale. The cause of CDH is not yet known.
CHERUBS - The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness, and Support
Founded in 1995, we are an international charity, helping over 5000 families in 60 countries.

Previous Interview with Robert Kenner
Robert Kenner's Food, Inc., is one of the top grossing theatrical documentaries of all time, selling nearly 500,000 DVDs. Food, Inc. received widespread critical acclaim, dozens of awards and accolades, including an Academy Award nomination, and has influenced current food policy decisions. Kenner received a Peabody and an Emmy for Two Days in October, depicting simultaneous events in 1967: a deadly Vietcong ambush and a violent campus protest. He was co-filmmaker with Richard Pearce on The Road to Memphis for the Martin Scorsese series, The Blues. Newsweek called The Road to Memphis "as fine a film ever made about American music" and "the unadulterated gem of the Scorsese Series." Kenner has directed numerous specials for National Geographic and PBS's American Experience series, as well as award winning commercials and corporate films for a wide range of clients. Kenner recently completed When Strangers Click that premiered for HBO. He is currently creating a series of web and TV spots about the unsustainability of our industrial food system.

His prolific writing on the movement to which he devotes his life includes his 2000 book, “Future Hope: A Winning Strategy for a Just Society,” and his column, “Future Hope,” which has been distributed nationally since 2000. Julie Anne Eason has been a professional writer for over 20 years. After figuring out that fiction writing wasn’t for her, she turned to freelance journalism and copywriting for a living. As technology advanced, she witnessed the balance of power in the publishing industry shift. Once the big New York publishers held all the cards. Writers were “lucky” if they could land an agent or a book contract. But now individuals are taking the initiative and writing, publishing, and marketing their own books without the need for an agent or publisher to give them a chance — which means that finally businesses, non-profits, and entrepreneurs can take advantage of the amazing power of books.
This is a heartbreaking story of a dog that was adopted just to be abandoned 4 days later in another state! A wonderful person found him and rescued him only to have the shelter, from another state, send someone to drag him away. Now, his rescuer, whom wanted to adopt him, can't get the shelter to communicate with her. When the shelter was contacted, they gave vague information and made statements that the rescuer didn't want him, thought he was too hyper, knocked her disabled husband over.....blah blah blah blah! Well, now we are asking you to get involved. Listen to the story, then make the phone calls. Let's tell the shelter that this behavior is unexeptable! What of the person whom abandoned Roman? He's a DOCTOR and first claimed that Roman bit him, then after all Hell broke loose, hired a lawyer and now claims that Roman bit him 3 times! Roman never once showed aggression to the woman and her husband who rescued him.....sound fishy? Yup, that's what I said too! Get those pens and paper handy cause I'm passing out names and numbers! Let's show them the power of the Internet and this show! Let's find out what happened to Roman!

Take Action Get Profits with Michele Scism with her guest Martin Stellar & Mary Beth Stenzel:
Martin Stellar - Email marketing specialist, ethical marketer, ex-monk, former artisan, semi-retired copywriter. My mission is to help and inspire creatives, artists and artisans to come to terms with promotion and marketing. Teaching email marketing and ethical marketing strategies that work. Started as a copywriter when my luxury tailoring company bit the dust to lack of marketing, and quickly learned that marketing in itself isn't dirty or sleazy, but that it all depends on the individual. Moved from copywriting into teaching because I found that many customers needed understanding and insight into business more than highly persuasive salescopy. Mostly? Because I love art, and too many artists are shy to sell, just like I was when I was still a tailor.
Mary Beth Stenzel - I'm a Denver business owner who enjoys our active lifestyle here. Skiing, tennis, golf with my wonderful friends and family. Been in the merchant services business to business sales for almost 10 years. Includes being named salesperson of the year for 2 years and winning sales contest cruise trips! I've done it all from cold calling to equipment installation to Apple Pay and Google Wallet. The Merchant Savers is a business site to review merchant statements for lower credit card fees and best method to accept card payments. I started this business to add to my growing sales team and support. Love "selling" providing services once and then keeping clients and being paid monthly with customer support and telling them the truth.
