Reasonable faith seems like an oxymoronic statement. However, as we discussed in June, our faith is based in reason. Faith is not just a matter of the heart but a product of the mind. It's taking the time to use critical thinking skills, observation, and logic to see whether or not what we believe is really true.
The idea behind this is to understand that God really does want us to seek Him. In Matthew 11:28-30 it says, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Why do we thinking Jesus is saying to learn of him and then correlates it to rest? I believe it's because the more you learn about Him, the surer we are in our faith. For in learning, we probe. As we probe, we gain answers. As we gain answers, our foundation is sure. When our foundation is sure, we have no fear that it can be shaken.

The topics of this show are based on Lakota Star Knowledge and may include viewing current events from the Ancient Lakota perspective. This show's objective is perpetuate peace among all people, as the foundation of all universes is based on "Mitakuye Oyas'in". The Lakota Star Knowledge definition of "Mitakuye Oyas'in" is that before you can be at peace with all the relatives throughout all universes, you must first have peace among all the relatives within your own inner universe. The mind, body, soul and emtions are all connected to each other. When you do your best in nurturing these four parts, you will establish peace within yourself. Only then are you able to be at peace with all creation around you.

Jesse interviews Greg Friedman – a modern version of that which has existed in every culture, a spiritual guide and mentor. He builds bridges and helps clear paths, in part by taking the ancient wisdom of indigenous cultures and making it applicable to use in our everyday lives. Greg works one on one, in workshops, and as a couples’ referee and translator, as well as taking small groups of people all over the World to work with indigenous elders in remote destinations. He has studied and done ceremony with Peruvian Shamans, Aborigine elders and elders from various Native American tribes including the Yaqui, the Deer Tribe, the Lakota and the Abanaki. Greg has taken people deep up the Ucayali River, a tributary of the Amazon, to work with Carlitos, a Shipibo Shaman in the rainforest, and up to Machu Picchu to hear Kucho tell the stories that the anthropologists don’t. In Australia he took people to Uluru to hear Elsie, an Anangu Aborigine elder, tell the creation stories and into the tropical Daintree Rainforest to experience the Aborigine healings done by the Kuku Yalanji tribe through didgeridoo song and music. As a guide Greg helps you build the life of your choosing by uncovering the foundation that is already in you. In addition Greg hosts his own radio show InnerJourney. We will be exploring Greg’s work in it’s many different facets. You can learn more about him at: www.gregfriedman.com

THIS WEEK: Growing is Knowing!
Evolution is defined as; the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form.
After a Brain Injury, are we not reduced to a much simpler form and therfore must evolve, once again? If not, WTF? (Where's The Focus?) In 1978 our special guest, Mary Lou Garceau was involved in a rollover vehicle incident that changed her life and the lives of her two young children, 36 years later.
Join Kevin and the Marvelous Maggie as their guest shares what it was like living with a Brain Injury (before they were called 'Brain Injuries") and how through learning about her son's TBI, she discovered how to manage her own FUNctional LIFE NOW!
Tune in this week to add another perspective to your daily repertoire. If there is something in particular you would like to hear Kevin discuss, join us on Fridays and share in the chat room with the "Marvelous Maggie" (Kevin's 24/7 Partner and Professional Care Assistant)
Isn't it ironic that the lame stream media, public officials, and other pundits promote peace in Ferguson as a response to the riots yet we continue to drop bombs in the middle east. War is not the answer or is it...
America has a violent past, a violent present, and a may I dare say a violent future. Tonight we discuss the differences and similarities between the Cliven Bundy case and the Ferguson case. Two isolated incidents with common threads and an underlining theme that cannot be denied.
Since the days of Martin Luther King the phrase, "Turn the other cheek" has been a prominent theme line in the black community. Although marching, protesting, and boycotting were cornerstones to the civil rights movement many question whether these tactics are outdated. On the flip-side how productive and effective is rioting.
In other news we will address how The CDC and the powers that be have been deliberately waging war against the black youth of America. A top research scientist for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) played a key role in helping Dr. Brian Hooker of the Focus Autism Foundation uncover data manipulation by the CDC that obscured a higher incident of autism in Black Boys.
