In this radio show Martha Stokes CMT explains why the company and the stock are not the same thing. Once a company has gone public, the company's shares of stock take on a life of their own. The stock price may not be in harmony with fundamentals, due to the perceived value of the stock. Sometimes the stock price will rise while the fundamentals are weakening. Examples of this would be that revenues may be falling but the stock keeps going up in price, or the stock has a very high P/E ratio but the stock price keeps moving up. Martha explains why a stock's price may not be in sync with what is going on with the company. She also teaches you how to combine both fundamental and technical stock chart analysis, for optimal stock picks and a stronger portfolio.

Rez and Andy hit the streets in Washington state where they're making history as one of the only places in the world where you can buy marijuana legally.
They'll talk to one of the owners of the first Spokane Marijuana shop to open, Green Leaf, and find out how it all went. They'll also talk to the first man who purchased marijuana and then get fired, the owners of what everyone's calling the city's first "Bed and Bud"--the 1899 House, a medical doctor who will explain what it means to "Drive high, get a DUI!", the owner of Cinder Marijuana Shop in Spokane Valley who says his store is being blocked from opening, and lots of live opinions from the streets.
Will it be a good thing for Washington? Should the rest of the country do the same? Will the federal government eventually come in and close it down? Will the legal prices be too high for consumers? "Let's Talk about it!"
Call in and talk about legalized marijuana.

Blowing Smoke: Rethinking the War on Drugs by Dr. Michael Reznicek
Marijuana is finally legalised for use in Washington State. So you're from Vancouver B.C. and you think you can drive down to Smoke Marijuana in Seattle. U.S. Customs & Border Protection pulls you aside after you tell them you are coming down for Marijuana. They ask you if you smoke marijuana and you say yes. Well you have now just opened a barrel of rattle snakes. Plus you now have got one step closer to needing a us entry waiver. We will discuss this very sensitive issue. Admitting to CBP ABOUT ANYTHING DRUG RELATED is essentially you giving them the rope to hang yourself, standing on the gallows, paying them to tie youyr hands behind your back and then yelling at them to pull the lever. We will discuss their reasoning behind it, their interrogation techniques and what you can expect to happen to you. YOU MAY END UP NEEDING A US ENTRY WAIVER.
In a laid back lazy Sunday afternoon conversation at the Scurv Sanctuary, we shared a wonderful conversation about actor Denzel Washington which started with his outstanding role in the movie "Flight" which focused on his character's fight with drug and alcohol addiction as well as his denial to face the fact that he had a huge problem.
We spoke on how society has evolved for the worst and where we stand as a people in the year 2014.
Interesting exchange indeed and we would love to hear your feedback, thoughts and comments to continue such an important dialogue.
