Ms. Clark believes in the power of education, she has served as an instructor at Cleveland State University and is currently the Senior Director of Education and Talent Development at the Urban League of Greater Cleveland.. Ms. Clark is the Founder and Executive Director of The Phenomenal Foundation, Inc., a non-profit community outreach organization. The Foundation is dedicated to “Making a difference” realizing that change and growth must initially begin from within. In 2006, the Ohio Community Service Council recognized Ms. Clark for her community service contributions as of one the first recipients of the Star Award. First Lady Hope Taft and Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur were the two other honorees to receive this distinction. Motivating people is her passion. Ms. Clark continues to serve as a Motivational Speaker and has provided educational interactive presentations to vast audiences across the country. Ms. Clark is constantly asked how she manages it all, and she simply responds, “My faith in God is my foundation, my mother is my inspiration and my children are my motivation. I serve a Phenomenal God, who has ordered my steps and with Him all things are possible. I am truly blessed.”
I am re-running my 2 shows on The Mistress. Last week was The Mistress Part I and tonight is Part II. These 2 shows go into the clarity I have received these last 20 years about this type of relationship, and believe me, you will be amazed what is at the cause and core of inordinate affairs. Perhaps having a deeper understanding of the processes of loving and being loved can help us all to be able to continue our lives together -- even when there is what one might consider a serious altercation - none of us is perfect yet, we are all in stages of evolving in our understandings, and having a bigger picture can perhaps help to keep families from being torn apart and the children tossed to and fro on the waves of human need and want.
I suggest you also listen to my Friday night show - Mr. Right is Married.
Photos are of daybreak on my balcony in Southern California.
All relationships have purpose and all relationships are valuable. Sometimes, we get into relationships that are connected to the past. Sometimes, we get into relatiionships that are trying to fulfill a need that we don't know that we have and the relationship brings clarity and understanding. This show tonight is my story. But there are parts to my story that are commonly shared by many other people and it is to those who have traveled this road with me, I wish to dedicate this program. And also to the people who have been affected by me and those who have traveled this path. In looking back, I have to say that I have no regrets. I now have placed this experience in my "valuable" folder. I hope that you can, too.
Jay D. Alexander is the president and founder with the non-partisan grassroots non-profit called Civilian Conservation Corps Initiative and their goal is to re-establish the US Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Since his ranger service at Raccoon Creek he has been an advocate for their re-establishment.
Join us with Jay and special guest Fay Cunningham, an alum of the original CCC, as we discuss the revitalization effort of the Civilian Conservation Corps Initiative and what it involves and how you can contact your Representatives to get them to cosponsor “HR188 - The 21st Century Civilian Conservation Corps Act” which is sponsored by Ohio Representative Marcy Kaptur. HR188 is a job creation program that re-establishes a Civilian Conservation Corp that puts to work unemployed and underemployed civilians to advance useful public works projects aimed at safeguarding natural resources and developing new transportation and infrastructure.
