Making Dreams Come True for Military Kids with Brat Pack 11

    in Family

Kenzie Hall is a military brat who's working to identify what military kids need for the long-haul. At just 11 years-of-age she created "Brat Pack 11," while her father was deployed to Afghanistan. Her foundation's mission is to recognize "the children of military heroes nationwide by providing them with unforgettable experiences and connecting them with a network of continued support. Her dedication is making quite an impression. In fact, Brat Pack 11 is administered by the "Boot Campaign" to show honor and gratitude to our nation's youngest boots on the ground.

It's clear that the Boot Campaign's motto of "When They Come Back, We Give Back," mirrors Kenzie Hall's heart and mission of Brat Pack 11. "The Boot Girls" have garnered recognition and support from the media, celebrities, and others -- magnifying that "give back" motto.  On February 14th, the Boot Girls paid a visit to their long-time partner and friend, Marcus Luttrell, to deliver a $35,000 check to the Lone Star Foundation; funds raised during the January exclusive pre-release screening of the feature film Lone Survivor.

Kenzie Hall's ideas to give back are making a trailblazing difference too. In early-February, she began sorting through "wishing for hope" applications to make dreams become a reality for a lucky military brat. She's working together with The Boot Girls to provide a military brat with an exciting trip, to meet a hero or celebrity, or receive a special item. While Kenzie knows it's impossible to erase the pain of a injured military parent or losing a parent at war, at 16 years old she's making an incredible difference as one our nation's youngest boots on the ground.

    Tune into this inspirational episode!
