Spelunker74 asks: You commented at one point that McGee's book in NCIS crossed lines by being too closely modeled after his coworkers, and could/should have resulted in a lawsuit. I wondered if you have fast and hard rules for including real life people/events in your works, and how you balance that with the need and/or desire to work things out in fiction?
Your characters are such fleshed out believable people. Do you have tricks for preventing them from becoming caricatures of friends and family?
AND THEN BITCHING with Ladyholder & Cinna Minion
AND in hour 2 - Jilly talks about McGee's book.
This radio show ends abruptly due to Blogtalk malfunction.
I met Chef Marcos when I first started working for C-Cap. This warm, charming, gifted chef has taken his skills to a new venture while still maintaining that welcoming aurora. His path in culinary isn't too different from Chef Elaina's, so they have a lot in common.
MR – Boa tarde, sou o Male Ibraim, Estudante e desempregado.
It always seems foolish to talk about any upcoming fight as if it could be a popular fighter's last. Will Manny Pacquiao fight after the Tim Bradley rematch this weekend, win or lose? The odds are he will, but for now, it could be Pacquiao's last bout ever. Can Bradley make a serious dent this time?
Also this coming weekend, Charles Martin puts his heavyweight belt on the line against British Olympic gold medalist Anthony Joshua. Is Joshua essentially poaching an easy belt, or is Martin just too much of an unknown quantity?
Joining boxing historian Patrick Connor of The Fight City, FloBoxing and more this week, is Brin-Jonathan Butler, author and filmmaker. Those of you who listen regularly should be familiar with the man. There will more-than-likely be some discussion about Cuban boxing, as well as upcoming fights like Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs Amir Khan, the likelihood of Floyd Mayweather coming out of retirement for Adrien Broner, and more.

This is Easter Week (Holy Week). We are blessed to have Father Brian McWeeney, Director of Ecumenical Affairs and Inter-Religious Activities for the Archdiocese of New York, to discuss HolyThursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Joining Father McWeeney is Rev. Marcos Miranda, Sr. Pastor at Action in Christ Int'l Church and President of Christian Clergy - an organization dedicated to ending the persecution of Christians and other minority faith groups around the world.
This week is not only time to repent; it is also a time to reflect on what we have done to ourselves, to other people and how our relationship with the L-rd make us better people. This is the time to ask and pray for forgiveness and to be thankful for all our blessings.
Easter is a religious holiday, observed primarily by Christians. However, you don't have to be Christian to appreciate the holiday and today's show.
Katie was born in Chicago and raised in San Diego. She is a 4th generation psychic, on both sides of her family. Both of her great grandmothers, as well as her paternal aunt have psychic abilities. Although she has had many metaphysical experiences throughout her life, there is one particular event that was significant in her life. When Katie was in grade school she distinctly remembers helping a friend with her homework and “just knowing” also known as claircognizant, that she would be in a profession to help others. Back then she thought she would be a Doctor? Guess again!
After graduating college at California State University at San Marcos, with a double major of both psychology and sociology Katie began her career in social service work. She has worked in several non-profits locally in the San Diego area as a caseworker, case manager and advocate, specializing in Domestic Violence as well as Sexual Assault. As a case worker Katie worked with people of a wide variety of life challenges. It was at this time, in 2002, that she began doing psychic readings professionally. Katie specializes in relationships of all kinds, couple readings, profiling types of personalities, relationship compatibility and past life readings. Katie is also a mentor to indigo children and she is an indigo adult.

I know you said not to get attached to titles in stories you submitted for publishing.
Have they ever made you change the name or gender of a character? If so what was the motivation behind that or did the publishing company give you a reason?
Were there changes they had you make that you did but felt unhappy with?
What was the single most upsetting moment for you as a newly published author?
Have there been times you needed to remind yourself that while it was your art it was also your job and you needed to find a way to harmonize the two so that you could handle the changes that had to occur?
What was the most satisfying experience for you as an author?
What was one time you had to avoid exposing yourself to a fan in person for your pro work?
How often have YOU written fanfic of your own work? What was one time you wrote fanfic for an author you knew and why? (shared or not)
How hard was it to not out yourself at first and what did you find most frustrating about it?
