On tonight's episode of Talking in Circles, we discuss Brad Keselowski's win at Chicagoland Speedway. Brad's 15th win of his career, and 5th of the season. Back-to-back wins for the 2012 series champion, he led 62 of 267 laps. This win propels Brad Keselowski into the Contender Round of the chase. Some strong runs by most of his competitors in the chase. We'll break down the race, and the Chase scenario after race one.
Also, it was announced today that Marcos Ambrose will move back to Australia and compete in Super-V8 cars driving for Team Penske. This leaves the number 9 seat open at Richard Petty Motorsports for 2015. Who will replace Ambrose is still yet to be determined, and being the fact that sponsor, Stanley/DeWalt is moving to JGR in 2015, it's likely that these candidates will have to bring funding. The guys will break down the top candidates for that ride as well.
On tonight's episode of Talking in Circles, we talk about Tony Stewart's incident at Canandaigua Motorsports Park, where Tony Stewart and Kevin Ward, Jr got into an incident, which resulted in Ward climbing out of his car, and walking down the race track in the middle of the turn. Tony's car collided with Ward, sending Ward flying and resulting in his death. This incident resulted in Tony choosing to skip today's race in Watkin's Glen. We'll talk about our thoughts on the incident, and how the media is making Stewart out like a murderer.
Meanwhile, there was actually a race in Watkin's Glen. A.J. Allmendinger becomes the 184th driver ever to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. He wins his first career race, and the first career win for JTG/Daugherty Racing as well. He beat Marcos Ambrose. We'll break down the race, and discuss how Allmendinger was able to beat Marcos Ambrose, and a hard-charging Kurt Busch. This race also shakes up the Chase grid quite a bit because we didn't see Allmendinger coming. Who gets hurt the most by this? We'll discuss it.
On tonight's episode of Talking in Circles, Joe Gibbs Racing has announced a new sponsor for both its #19 and number 20 cars in 2015. Stanley/Dewalt joins the fold.
Now that the sponsor has left, that leads to more speculation on who will replace Marcos Ambrose at RPM. RPM's development driver, Corey LaJoie makes his Sprint Cup Series debut this weekend at New Hampshire. Is he now the leading candidate to replace Ambrose, and is he the right man for the job? We're talking about it.
Also, The Motorsports Group, a raceteam currently in the NASCAR Nationwide Series will move to full-time Sprint Cup Series competition next season. What this move means for this organization, and what it means for the future of the Xfinity Series.
Also, we take you back in time to September 21, 2003 at Dover International Speedway for the MBNA 400. First race with freezing the field and the lucky dog. How has this new format helped the sport, and has it hurt it in a way.
And of course, our picks for New Hampshire.
All tonight on Talking in Circles.

Ariza said that Mayweather told him “I think I need you now” possibly indicating that he feels the need to change things up in his physical preparation due to the fact that he is getting up there in age as a fighter. We will with out a shadow of a doubt be taking live calls on air from you the voice of the people. Have you showered yet? There's a good chance that, following that Pay-Per-View card last weekend, you might have a thin film of filth all over you. Floyd Mayweather is probably still the best fighter on the planet, but his ego was deflated some after a prolonged tussle with Marcos Maidana in their rematch. That was interesting to some, but not much more on the paid card was, unfortunately. This week on TQBR Radio, Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules welcomes Alex McClintock, deputy editor for ABC Radio National and Queensberry Rules. Not much is on tap for the next week or so, but Orlando Salido, George Groves and a few others may pop up in conversation. Thanks for tuning in!
