It's a slow week fight fans so we will bring a live interview with once apon a time heavily touted contender Mike Jones. The last time we saw Jones he was stopped by Randall Bailey for the vacant IBF welterweight title in the penultimate round on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao-Tim Bradley in June 2012. Jones (26-1, 19 knockouts) was comfortably ahead when he was dropped by the devastating puncher in the 10th round before being dropped heavily again early in the 11th frame. We will with out a shadow of a doubt be taking live calls on air from you the voice of the people. There's an ebb and flow to the type of match ups we get in boxing. The sport may not be seasonal, as the NFL, NBA, MLB, and so forth are, but boxing comes and goes -- like most things. 2013 was mostly excellet, and so far 2014 has been lame. This past week wasn't a particularly strong one either, with Kell Brook taking an often-tedious decision over Shawn Porter, Anthony Dirrell tumbling about to a win over Sakio Bika, and Omar Figueroa making things somewhat worthwhile with an emphatic stoppage of Daniel Estrada on Showtime. This week on TQBR Radio, Bad Left Hook's James Foley and Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules will talk about all of that stuff, plus the Showtime Extreme undercard and what Jorge Linares and Deontay Wilder were doing on there, Austin Trout's return, and other boxing news. Thanks for tuning in!

Yahoo Boxing Reporter Kevin Lole joins Team LeftJab Boxing Radio to give his thoughts on the aftermath of the Danny Garcia-Rod Salka fight as well as the possibility of Garcia now taking on Lamont Peterson to unify the Light Welterweight titles later in the year.Lole also goes over Shawn Porter defending his IBF Welterweight Title against the U.K.'s Kell Brook and what to expect when Chris Algieri takes on Manny Pacquiao in China. Finally Lole breaks down Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana 2 and what the possible surprise Floyd has promised the boxing world could be after this fight.
How many events can we stack in a weekend? Two Valor events, Bluegrass Brawl, Turf Wars, Midwest Fight Series, Caged Madness and I'm sure there are more right?!
We kick off the show with our old pal Eric Moell. Moell returns to action this Saturday night in Florence to headline Turf Wars 20 against Manny Vazquez. Rod Housley checks in to talk about the big night of fights and what Turf Wars has planned for the second part of the year. Donta Wade will join us for the first time to chat about his fight against Mojo Horne.
From Bluegrass Brawl 13 we welcome in AFS Academy's Brandon Campbell. Brandon will vie for the promotion's flyweight title Saturday night at Heritage Hall. Ben Sergent will also swing by towards the end of the night to talk about his looming main event bout with Michael Seals.
We will also talk some Valor Fights as well!
Floyd Mayweather invented that whole #TBE hashtag, but does he have exclusive rights on it? For instance, can we borrow it here, while specifically intending to not use it to describe this past weekend's Showtime card? We're having our secretaries look into it. This week on TQBR Radio, Bad Left Hook's James Foley and Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules recap the miserable eyesore/earsore/soulsore that was headlined by Danny Garcia vs Rod Salka. Joining the show this week is ESPN's Brian Campbell. Oh, don't worry. There will be plenty of room to trash Lamont Peterson vs Edgar Santana and Daniel Jacobs vs Jarrod Fletcher, too, all the while working up to a preview of this weekend's Shawn Porter vs Kell Brook tripleheader on Showtime. Thanks for tuning in!

From yelling at two men in a clinch to wonky disqualifications, badly-yelled commands and taking points with impunity, all sorts of things happen when referee Vic Drakulich is involved -- and that's before he even gets into the ring! Brandon Rios' DQ win over Diego Chaves was disappointing, to say the least, but at least we had a fun stoppage from Sergey Kovalev over Blake Caparello, and a solid fight between Jessie Vargas and Anton Novikov. Wait, no...that was dumbed down by idiot judges too. This week on TQBR Radio, Bad Left Hook's James Foley and Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules are joined by Corey Erdman, analyst for The Fight Network and contributor to RingTV. Also up, a preview of Danny Garcia vs Rod Salka, and various musings and ridiculosities. Thanks for tuning in!
