Dear Yash Radio:
My husband just told me that he is “Addicted” to sports. Not playing them, but watching them. Football in its season. Baseball in its season. Basketball… He said tonight that he is happy when his team wins, sad when they loose, and depressed when they blow it. He is guilty whenever he is watching it because, I don’t like to watch sports on TV.
He listens to sports in the radio in the car. Thinks about it all day at work. Probably dreams it at night. Watches at least 15 hours of it a week. Why do baseball games have to be so long?!!
Sports is affecting our relationship. He doesn’t just play with our 2 1/2 year old son. He has one eye and ear glued to the game on TV. When we finally get out of the house on the weekends, he rushes us to get home before the start of a game. No more hiking. No more walks on the beach which is only three blocks from our house! No more exercising together. He even bought a second TV so that he wouldn’t feel too guilty, since our son and I could sit in another room watching a different show…
Is this addiction? Am I assisting in some co-dependent way? Should I take off with or without our son to do the fun outdoors things that we used to do (only alone this time)? When I do go out, with my family or a friend, he gets really depressed.
He probably grew up like this, and just hid it long enough for him to catch me. We are gaining weight on that couch. Our son is getting older. And we don’t have the family memories to keep me happy.
Plus. He promised me over 3 years ago he would quit smoking. I know it must be hard, but he smokes at work. I don’t let him smoke at home, but if he goes to the store (for beer to drink with the game…) he smokes. I’m a high school teacher. He works on a computer all day. We can’t afford his beer and cigarettes.
What can we do?

Tonight on Incubi Incarnate Broadcast, your host Bill Bachman welcomes very special guest Nicole Novelle 'Niki Paraunnormal' at 9pm EST on www.incubiincarnate.com/iiblistenlive!
Niki has been seeking answers since her first paranormal experience as a child and has never stopped searching. Niki lived in a farm house located in rural Maryland in which paranormal activity occurred on a regular basis. In the years that followed her curiosity grew and she soon began conducting her own investigations using primitive techniques. As an adult, Niki has become a seasoned investigator and is now using not only primitive but new and experimental equipment on her investigations. Niki's background in the medical field as well as her focus in medical research gives her what some would consider a "scientific approach" to her work in the field as well during evidence review. With her love of investigation and her quest for answers to the unknown she has continued to remain active within the paranormal community. She has been appointed leadership roles in paranormal organizations as well as has been chosen to represent members of the community when participating in debates on ethics and practices within the paranormal. Niki hosts a radio show; Live Paranormal Spotlightt on LiveParanormal.com and she also co-hosts other shows on the network. She has hosted many special presentations for the network and has been a guest on numerous paranormal shows. When she isn't "on air" she can often be found on the other side of the microphone; producing radio shows. She continues to search for answers and works closely with the paranormal community and clients who seek answers to the same questions she still has to this day. Niki and her family reside in the Baltimore area. When Niki is not on air or investigating the paranormal she enjoys urban exploration, hiking and photography.

Happy New Year. I'm starting off 2015 by talking with two men of suspense and mystery, Mark S. Bacon and Kurt Kamm.
Mark began his writing career as a Southern California newspaper reporter covering police and general assignments. Since then he has written TV and radio commercials and print and online advertising as a copywriter. Most recently he was a correspondent for the San Francisco Chronicle. His latest book is A Death in Nostalgia City.
Kurt Kamm lives in Malibu CA. He uses his contacts with CalFire, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Ventura County Fire Department and the ATF, as well as his experience in several devastating local wildfires to write fact-based firefighter mystery novels. Kurt’s latest book is Tunnel Visions.
Please come by and listen as I learn more about these two intriguing guys.

It’s been five years since Dan Siegel released a new recording and the cover of his 20th disc, “Indigo,” provides a glimpse of the musical content. Stylish black & white photos shot by Siegel in Paris, Berkeley, Malibu and Irvine colored in muted shades of Indigo reflect the melodic beauty and idyllic romance that illuminate Siegel’s ten original compositions that are fully-orchestrated acoustic jazz renderings produced by Grammy-nominated bassist Brian Bromberg and Siegel.
