We have reach the 50th anniversary of brother Malcolm X death. So in this broadcast we want to highlight some info surrounding his life and assassination.
Born on May 19, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, Malcolm X was a prominent black nationalist leader who served as a spokesman for the Nation of Islam during the 1950s and '60s. Due largely to his efforts, the Nation of Islam grew from a mere 400 members at the time he was released from prison in 1952 to 40,000 members by 1960. Articulate, passionate and a naturally gifted and inspirational orator, Malcolm X exhorted blacks to cast off the shackles of racism "by any means necessary,". Brother Malcolm X broke with the group shortly before his assassination, February 21, 1965, at the Audubon Ballroom in Manhattan, where he had been preparing to deliver a speech.

FIFTY years ago today my father, Malcolm X, was assassinated while speaking at the Audubon Ballroom in New York City. I think about him every day, but even more in the last year, with the renewed spirit of civil rights activism after the tragic events in Ferguson, Mo., on Staten Island and in countless other parts of the country. What would he have to say about it?He would also critique the activists’ rhetoric itself. I imagine he would applaud the “Hands Up” gesture for its sheer dramatic effect, but also critique it as rank capitulation that ironically accommodates the very goal of police brutality — to intimidate and immobilize black citizens, forcing them into a defenseless posture if they hope to survive. When I first met Lynn Littlejohn, it was after Rev Eddie Long was going through his ordeal (I'm not going to say it here, however if you're interested, google or bing it. I thought she was his X wife, however she wasn't. She was somebody else's ex wife. She was on YOUTUBE. You have to check out her channel, she has over a million views to her channel and more. She has written a couple of books. pastorsexwife.org tells the story.
If you want the true, this is where you get it. She is open and honest - she's lived a spicy life and she is willing to share it. If you don't like the truth but are willing to sneak and get it, COME 'ROUND HERE (Smokey Robinson) She tells it like it is, and she doesn't bite her tongue. This is the way religion should be. If you were to hear her show over and over (like if she only did one) you would get something valuable each time you listen, because PASTORSEXWIFE/LYNN LITTLEJOHN is like a hit record. Every time you hear her, you want more. 347-205-9366 - Are you ready?
