Tough Talk with Tony Gambone with his guest Larry Stockstill & Sandra Lee Hartsell:
Larry Stockstill - As a missionary in Africa for two years and a senior pastor for twenty-eight years, Larry Stockstill’s ministry has been global and local. His ministry now involves winning men to Christ (Model Man), planting local churches (Surge) and strengthening character in leaders (Remnant). With six children all in ministry, he and his wife Melanie minister together worldwide strengthening the marriages and families of today’s Christian leaders.
Sandra Lee Hartsell - I love to write prose. My first book has been called, "A Crime of Passion" and others have called it, "Illustrations of Inspiration". I love word illustrations. People that have read my writing relate their lives to it. I have wrote down everyday experiences. The title is called, "A Call to the Christians." I have 3 more prose books out. One is titled, "A Call to the Christians 2", "Latch Key Kids", and "Emotional Hearts." The last three books that I have done are children's books. They are "Adam Petty's Heartbeat". This book is based on the Victory Junction Camp in Asheboro, NC. Adam Petty had a passion for children. You can see the passion he had for children, as you read through this book that is about the camp. "Let's Go Feed the Animals" is based on the Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville, NC. Children love the photos that are in the book. "Once A Year" is about a yearly traditional that the Moravian church at Old Salem has continued since 1929.

How has black history affected us today? How do we as black people make history in America today? Tonight lets get into it, tune in tonight from 7pm to 9pm or call in at 347-308-8813 to join in the conversation.
Have you ever thought that you were doing things properly and yet, there was something missing? there just seems to be more problems than I should be experiencing and all too few solutions! This thought can be quite frightening; even threatening in some respects.
The truth is, however, that all too frequently, a sense of having problems seems to be with us on and off throughout our lives. It's like we're in a problem, just getting out of a problem, or going into one. Many times, the experience leaves us feeling empty, lost, maybe without hope, a sense of failure. I don't need to mention what these difficulties are; we know; we experience them.
Today's message looks at how you and I can experience problems even if we consider ourselves believers. We will review just a little to get the proper introduction, then we will begin an emphasis on just how the Cross of Jesus Christ fits into the sense of victory that we will or will not expierience in life.

During the first half of the 20th century, the largest internal population shift in U.S. history took place. Starting about 1910, through the Great Migration over five million African Americans made choices and "voted with their feet" by moving from the South to northern cities, the West and Midwest. In the 1920s, the concentration of blacks in New York led to the cultural movement known as the Harlem Renaissance, whose influence reached nationwide. From A. Philip Randolph to Marcus Garvey, sociopolitical designs for self-determination became the model that pushed towards sociopoliticah shifts within the American construct.
How did these extraordinary people develop and sustain such constructs? Are they relevant during current times? Join us as we talk about how the Harlem Renaissance shaped identity for black American and the nation.

Life's Issues with Lloyd Rosen with his guest Vanessa Landry & Mark Smith:
Vanessa Landry - I'm a 51 year old female her lost her job in corporate America 3 years ago. Still cannot get employment. I am an author of two christian poetry books. An Invitation To My Heart and Longing For Your Love while In The Wilderness. www.outskirtspress.com/longingforyourlove
Mark Smith - How would you feel if you were told that by the age of 20 you’d be in a wheelchair? What if your father was so abusive you slept with a baseball bat every night? After overcoming all that, you finally make it big and hear cheers every night as a professional wrestler for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Then you lose your family in the blink of an eye. You feel lost and life is over. Where do you go from there? That is my story.
Our book “One Last Hurrah…Making Peace and a Difference” is our story of making peace with a past that gave us every excuse to accept failure. It’s through making peace, that our hearts can be fully dedicated to making differences in families and communities. Our story includes the miracle healing of our son’s blood disorder, being told by a pastor’s wife that we must pray (laying on hands) for a pastor’s cancer to disappear (it did within a month) , and working with U.S. Special Forces.
