Change Is Inevitable; Struggle Is An Option

    in Spirituality

    The Wisdom:

    Change!
    Stripping away the old skin.
    Making way for
    Revolution

One thing is a constant in our universe, that is change, and now as there is a great shifting of energies on planet earth: prepare as it is now reflected on your life path.

Necessity and opportunity are now combined, making this a rarified time where your power to make positive change is at its most dynamic. It is a time that can carry you to heights you have not before imagined. No need to rush or panic, there will be time to do what must be done. And have no doubts the changes you have desired and dreamed are active as never before.

Change is going to occur; it’s an inevitable construct of time, space, Universe.  That is why we are taking the time to revisit some of the most powerful techniques for self development that exist.  These techniques are within your grasp, at no cost to you except for the investment of your Time.  Once again, this evening, we revisit the topic of meditation because meditation is one of the most powerful techniques available to you that provides the essential elements to managing change. The more you can practice these techniques, the quicker your changes will come.

You can find more of my meditations as The Halau on ReverbNation (http://www.reverbnation.com/thehalau) as well as on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/TheHalau).

The Red Whine with Jodi and Di - April 1, 2015

First of all Thank you for making us the #1 show on Altcon radio. We love our fans :) Tonight on the show guest host Katie Johnson is back to discuss the trafficking bill and recent trafficking events. We are also discussing the report  out of the UK that states newborns can be killed like the unborn. Does the lack of regard for human life explain the increase in trafficking in the world in general?

Politics of the day, and of course...your phone calls. We love hearing from you!

The ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW - Elizabeth Letchworth Chryst

Angie's List, the online service that provides consumer reviews of service professionals, publicly endorsed anti-Christian bigotry by opposing an Indiana law designed to protect religious liberties and freedoms.

Last week, Indiana Governor Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) after the state legislature overwhelmingly supported it. Twenty states now have passed the law, with Arkansas and Georgia currently considering it.

Back on the air tonight with the Hon. Elizabeth Letchworth Chryst, retired US Senate Secretary.  We'll be discussing Indiana Governor Mike Pence's headlne-making dilemma.. but is it REALLY a dilemma? Or something else?

Elizabeth will have the answers and the backstory.

MCM Radio: Tennessee Titans and Our April Fools Draft

    in Sports

It's April Fools Day, and what better to celebrate the day of hoaxes and pranks than by hosting the first MCM Radio Mock Draft of 2015??? We can't think of a better way, so we'll be plowing through the first 33 picks (including the Titans' pick at the top of the 2nd round) of the draft Wednesday night at 8:00 CST!

In other news, I can't be the only Titans fans hoping that all of this QB draft talk is just one big prank...

The Tennesee Titans have been making  tons of noise regarding the top two QBs in the 2015 NFL Draft, but just how much of it is a smokescreen? We'll discuss that was well on this week's edition of MCM Radio!

Until then, be sure to check out Music CIty Miracles for all of your Titans news and analysis!

Talk with Tenney: A Conversation with Sarah Knutson

    in Current Events

April 1, 2015 from 9-10 PM Eastern or a lively conversation with Sarah Knutson.

For years, activists have been calling attention to psychiatric mystification as an abuse of power. We've opposed the proliferation of DSM confabulated 'mental disorders' as a instruments of industry profit and social control. Yet, for the most part, as a society, we remain confused. What really is going on when someone becomes distressing to themselves or others? Why does this happen? And what could a human rights-informed society attempt to do about it? Beyond this, how do we make change happen? What are we up against? Why is change so hard? And how do we begin to take down the walls that divide us into 'us' and 'them'? As an mad activist, xlawyer, xtherapist, Sarah Knutson has devoted much of her life to making sense of these issues. In this episode, Sarah will draw from both lived experience and social science research to offer an integrated wholistic human perspective that gets us beyond the conventional divide between 'mental health' and 'mental illness.' Sarah will also discuss the challenges inherent in any effort to change conventional human consciousness from the 'tried & true' to the 'radically new.'  Bonus: a conversation about holding your ground with police for activism season!

Sarah Knutson is a RadMad Didactivist with lived experience as a therapist, lawyer and human rights advocate. Sarah is passionate about creating "positively mad" culture and accessible approaches to mental distress based on shared humanity. She works as a consultant for Intentional Peer Support. Sarah struggles daily to vote with her life for a world she wants to live in. Volunteer activities include organizing around the IPS Learning Community, Peerly-Human Family, Human Rights Recovery and the Wellness-Recovery Human Rights Campaign (more info on facebook.
