Lynn Bruce, born and raised in Baltimore Maryland, has ten years’ experience in Real Estate as an Assistant Property Manager. However, at a young age her desire to be an actress landed her a role as Ludiebelle in the hit DMV play Purlie. You may also be familiar with her from her appearances on the television show, Homicide, several local commercials and a few independent films. Although she loved her work, she had a true passion for writing and therefore, started writing plays and short stories. She eventually decided to leave her career in Real Estate to pursue her dream and in 2012 finished her first book, “Rock to a Diamond.” Lynn feels she has a lot to offer the world through her writing. It is her hopes to help women who have or are going through the same things she’s experienced in life by being completely transparent. Currently enrolled in a creative writing and freelance course, she uses her free time to write for local magazines covering the latest in entertainment in and around Baltimore, MD. She is also working on a short film scheduled for production this spring and has begun working on her second book. Lynn easily fits into the fold of Brown Essence, as we ask that you keep your eye on her, she’s not done yet!
Now as much a part of the Thanksgiving holiday as hand-traced turkeys and peanut butter pie, it's our annual Ruxgiving celebration with special guest Bruce Rux. This year's installment will feature a special pirate theme and explore a variety of sea-faring oddities that Bruce has uncovered over the years.
Bruce and Silver are kidnapped by the Knife, where he manipulates Silver into revealing the name of Bruce's parents' killer after being paid by Bruce and Selina. However, this proves to be a fake name. Gordon and Bullock track down a monk and learn that the son of Gotham shall die. Galavan is released after Mayor James' statement that Galavan did not kidnap him, framing Penguin instead. Gordon is captured by Theo, but is rescued by Penguin. Alfred grows suspicious of Bruce's whereabouts and searches Theo's apartment, where he is wounded by Tabitha. Theo breaks into Wayne Manor and kidnaps Bruce.

Ryan Rocks It! with friend Colie Brice Monday, November 23 RD at 5:30 PM. I have known this awesome and multi talented Man for many years now. I first heard Colie perform with Jason Lusardi aka Jay Walker, bass player. Colie and Jay played together for many years in Colie's band "Folie Brice New Age Blues Experience". I like this qote of Colie's, "Experiences Compose the Symphony of Life", so true. Colie has recorded over 30 something albums, some on mjajor labels with big budgets, others recorded at home DY style on indie labels. Recording highlights range from three elaborately produced albums with Phantom's Opera which at on etime featured Michael Romeo (Symphony X) and later Karl Cochran of Ace Frehley (KISS) and Joe Lynn Turner's (Rainbow, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen). Colie will tell you that he was stubbornly persistent in pursuing a big time music carer, but after tripping out at a Grateful Dead Show, he started pursuing a more personal creative direction he called the "LUNA MUSE" principle and started branding his own kind of music he loosely called New Age Blues. To that end, in 1997, Colie's Solo debut New Age Blues was accepted in teh 40 TH Annyual Gramy Nomination Entry List in several cataegories including Top Instrumental for "17G (Tribute to Jerry."
As a stage musician, Colie has performed at diverse venues ranging from The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, to the Roxy Theater in Hollywood, California and many points inbetween. Colie shared the bill with an scletic variety of notable acts such as Dick Dale, Layonne Homes ( Jon Bon Jovi Solo Band), Juggling Suns, Tony Levin, Dick Manitoba, Marshall Tucker, Skid Row, Jill Sobule and Southside and the Asbury Jukes among many others.

B.L.I.F. Network presents Firm Foundation with our host Evangelist Owen Bruce. At times we all go through the wilderness experience which are times or seasons in our life when we face difficult situations, our faith may be challenged, emotionally we may become drained and discouraged, and it may be a very lonely time because nobody else knows what is really going on inside of us. Why does God allow us to face such harsh times in life? The good news is that Jesus went through the wilderness experience in Matthew Chapter 4, verses 1 to 11, and He came through victorious. We will look further into the first test that Jesus faced in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-4) and why He responded the way He did can help us to overcome in our time of testing as well.
Jesus answered, "The Scriptures say: 'No one can live only on food. People need every word that God has spoken.' " (Matthew 4:4, CEV)
