    in Motivation

Human beings are social creatures. Very few of us can survive without emotional connections. Babies who are born prematurely have a higher chance of survival if they are held and carressed. The power of a mother's touch has produced miracles. People who make friends and can influence others are more successful than those who are not able to form meaningful connections. During this episode, Chanti and Desiree will discuss the Human Connection and the importance of bonding.

Artists off to Canada for Fun and Profit

    in Business

Most of this audience is U.S. based fine artists and craftspeople. Did you realize there is a whole other world just a few miles north of us with educated sophisticated people in big cities who may love your work? Think Montreal (metro pop. 3,824,221), Toronto (metro pop. 5.5 million) and Vancouver (metro pop. 2,313,328).

Many of you live near this border. Have you participated in a show in Canada? These are some of the most multicultural cities in the world, with deep roots in Europe and the Far East. Surely there are art buyers there.

    Our guests are:

Mark Teeple, Executive Director of the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Toronto's largest, and longest running outdoor art fair that attracts over 100,000 people and hosts 350 artists.

Mixed Media artists Chris Rom and Geoff Buddie, no stranger to the top U.S. art fairs, cross the border to participate in the Toronto Exhibition. They live in Northwest Ohio.

Mark's expertise is the Toronto marketplace and the positioning of the exhibition to bring in the buyers.

Chris and Geoff share information on crossing the border for commercial purposes, the differences in currency and other business issues for cross border traffic.

Ed Interviews Victor Hawks – Writer of Pass the Light

    in Christianity

VICTOR HAWKS (Writer/Producer) Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Victor Hawks made his way out East after high school to Washington DC, where he attended The Catholic University of America for Musical Theatre. Directly from college, he wanted to tackle the big stage so he moved to New York City. In a short time he booked his first Broadway show, joining the original company of “Urinetown the Musical.” From there he made Broadway his home for the next 10 years starring in shows like the Producers, playing the dream role of Jean Val Jean in “Les Miserables,” and playing Stewpot in the Tony Award winning revival of “South Pacific” at Lincoln Center.

Although Victor has a love for the stage, his true passion has always existed in writing TV and Film. During the Producer years, as he calls them, he started writing his first play, “Construction” (First draft 167 pages). Dozens of readings later, and a near brush with getting “Construction” produced on Broadway, he knew that the true audience for this piece was for the screen, so the play became a screenplay, and the rest is history. He met Angie Canuel, who was also in “The Producers” family, and the two of them worked tirelessly to get Construction to the big screen.

A few months later Victor, Angie, and Malcolm filmed “Construction” back in it's original home of New York City. The three formed Vision Vehicle Productions. Under the umbrella of Vision Vehicle productions, Victor wrote and produced PASS THE LIGHT. He is currently writing and developing over 8 films and 12 TV pilots.
