Accountability: Are We Really Prepared for the 21st Century?

    in Culture

As we enter a new year, Common Sense Conversations, takes accountability of the progress of a people. Are we truly prepared to exist in the 21st century?  Has the message been laid out for us by our elders, or do we still need prep time? What was the message that our ancestors/elders had prepared for us. Are the current leaders/lecturers, people who are recognized as leaders, honoring the messages of the past?  What does self-reliance look like in the 21st Century?

    Consciously Conscious

    in Self Help

    Featured Host: Parisha Taylor

In the present day and time, we are birthing our world with each thought we have and each word we speak. The effects of our environment become the reality of what we believe to be our world. The Sun and the Rain area Universal principle that touches each of us, but how we feel, think and act is our own reality of their effects, created by how we think.

Today, everything in our world is shifting and resolving all around us! That which we have always held to is questionable now. Our way of life is not holding true to our old dogmas and beliefs. But not to fear; it is the way of transformation. Today, science validates spiritual scriptures and the reality of God IS!! The One that is in all things – the I Am That I Am.

“Consciously – Conscious” is hosted by Pa’Ris’Ha, a Spiritual Archaeologist and Success Mentor and Coach. She was born a mixed-blood Cherokee and has lived her life as initiated by her Indigenous Elders. Pa’Ris’Ha teaches that which was given to be given!

Pa'Ris'Ha has served for fifty years in support of humanity's aspirations for individual health, wealth and happiness, and global peace, social justice and human rights, and sustainability!

There are those who are unconsciously unconscious, there are those who are consciously unconscious, and then there are those who are consciously conscious – and to that we dedicate this time.

Youth Session with The Council of Elders Part One

    in Spirituality

The Council of Elders was called in by a group of local young people to answer some pressing questions. One young man gathered the questions from his friends and we arranged for Red to come to answer them.
He lays it out, no punches pulled. These kids have a big, big job ahead and they need support.
Red says, “You don’t have a lot of elders here to help do you?..”No we do not.” they answer.

We grown-ups need to step up to the plate and help turn things around here before we leave. The kids need our help, now.

When can we expect Global awakening?
What are the world leaders doing?
Why is there extreme anxiety amoung teens and young adults?
They asked about help from different sources, like crystals, spirit guides,.
What about ‘Indigo kids’ what is that about?

    He tells them.
“..everybody is pushing us down this path, and it’s a cliff! We don’t want to there. That’s what you have to do is say ‘We’re not going there. We refuse to go there and we refuse to bring humanity with us!
Because the big secret that nobody told you is that YOU ARE the makers of the future generations, isn’t that so?
     That’s a lot of power isn’t it?
To stand there and say ‘I hold the future for my DNA line, I hold it, it’s in me! I hold the future for my community, my society, for whatever it is, wherever you are standing to say, “That’s the power I've got, I’m holding the future and I get to decide the direction it’s going to go in. .and it’s a tough power to grapple with! isn’t it?

This is part two of a session with local youth addressing such issues as

'..and it’s a tough power to grapple with isn’t it? It’s an awesome responsibility, but that’s where it’s at. So to be able to look at it and say ‘Where do I want to put this energy, whether it manifests as people or whether it manifests as opportunities or however it manifests in your life. Where do I want to put this energy, do I want to point it in a directio to create a future in those lines that seem corrupt to me, or do I want to build something new? “

Repositioning yourself for a fresh annointing

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX speaks about God's desire to pour out something fresh upon our lives.  Whatever God has called you to do, God is wanting us to reposition. To reposition means that we were in position for something in the first place. We need something new and fresh from God. In James 1:12 it says, "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." This crown represents a new authority, a new quality of life.

Further in 1 Peter 5:5 it says,  Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.” As we are repositioning ourselves we are being clothed with humility. We are becoming teachable. You can learn from other people and other streams of God.

1 Peter 5:6-7 concluded, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."
