Hey Kids! On the show tonight, our featured guest is Venezuela native, Hollywood sitcom writer and mastermind behind the brand spanking new pill-popping online comedy series “Beverly Pills”, Luis Bustamante. (www.beverlypillstheseries.com)
Our Shitz and Giggles (or Crap That Makes You Laugh) segment unravels one of the mysteries of the ages...“The Real Reasons Why Women Fake Orgasms”. So don’t be so quick to say, “I’ll have what she’s having.”
Our sexy, sizzling featured guest, Luis Bustamante grew up in Venezuela with an unhealthy fascination for sitcoms, which lead him to make the safest career choice of all: becoming a Hollywood TV Writer! By the age of 18, Luis packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a comedic ?lmmaker. After a few years, some short ?lms and a couple of art degrees, he decided to pursue his largest undertaking of all: making an independent comedy series to give the world a much needed laugh in the medium of serialized storytelling, and thus “Beverly Pills” was born.
This week’s “JUST THE TIP” segment gives us all a moment to self-reflect as we delve into “The Top 10 Things People Often Want to Change About Themselves”. And we end our visit with Luis Bustamante and “Beverly Pills - The Series” on a musical high note with Huey Lewis and The News singing “I Wanna New Drug.” Tune in, turn on, pass out. Rinse and repeat.

Each time we air our goal is to promote interest in the creative arts community. The focus is to allow artists in the community get their recognition. We know that radio has been for years at the forefront of communication and no matter how technology will send us in different directions, radio is here to stay. Almost everyone has something to say and what better opportunity to say it then to bring it straight to radio and then to the world.
Aj-Poet a native of Westchester County in White Plains, NY to be exact is jumping in head first to share her family of performers, artist, writers with the community. She hoping not only to reach individuals in the surrounding area but to launch a movement to preserve the beauty of the arts. She especially want that person who we call the "closeted" artist to come out and shine. No longer will we sing only in our bathroom or paint behind closed doors. What is freeing with radio is that these talents can be communicated behind a microphone exposing many to what we are afraid to show. However once revealed a star is born.
Aj-Poet will be interviewing, playing music, sharing taped and live interviews. Discussing what folks are doing out there and also promoting their crafts. From authors who are reachable in our communities to dancers and musicians about to do a show. She will have entrepreneurs, supporters, activists, politicians, community leaders and active participants in our communities.
Currently the show is aired from the Blue Door Arts Gallery located at 13 Riverdale Ave, Yonkers, NY every other Friday at 1pm. On alternative Friday's Aj-Poet takes her show on the road to interview artist out and about. Stay tuned to dates and locations. If you miss the show there is always a feed into Facebook. COCO TEA is one of Reggaes most talented and versatile artistes. His smooth, easy-going vocal presentation (pre-recorded or live) have become his trademark, earning him wide international acclaim; with songs like "Lost MY Sonia," "Tune In" and "Rocking Dolly," becoming world anthems in Reggae land. Admired and respected for his fine conscious recordings, COCOA TEA is also known for his unwavering generosity and kindness for the less fortunate. Born Colvin George Scott on September, 3, 1959, in Rocky Point, Clarendon, he was later schooled at the salt Savannah Primary school in Rocky Point and the Bustamante high School in Lionel Town Clarendon. From the exposure gained by singing on church and school choirs, COCO TEA recorded his first song, "Searching In The Hills," in 1974. Only Fourteen years old and having other interests, Calvin had no plans of making music his career. "Searching In The Hills," was far from a financial success. The disappointment was keenly felt by Calvin, and so he took the music business off his mind for a while. The next five years found COCOA TEA first as a Jockey, and then as a Fisherman. It was during this time of fishing that he began structuring his music career.
