The Word With G, New York Sports Edition

    in Sports

The New York Mets were very busy in free agency ugrading the roster immensely with the likes of Juan Uribe, Kelly Johnson, Tyler Clippard and the biggest bat brought in since Carlos Delgado, Yoenis Cespedes. Found out how I feel Sandy Alderson did in free agency and if these moves will be enough to over take the Washington Nationals in the NL East.

The New York Yankees were quiet at the trade deadline but are bringing up one of their prized rookie possessions in Luis Severino. The offense has been on a torrid pace while the pitching still leaves much to be desired.

MLB non-waiver trade deadline is over, big NFL names land on PUP list

    in Sports

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will wrap up the MLB trades.  It was another busy day in MLB, as the non-waiver trade deadline ended today.  The Milwaukee Brewers traded Gerardo Parra to the Balitimore Orioles.  A day after shipping Carlos Gomez and Mike Fiers to Houston for four propspects, the Brewers acquired another young right handed pitcher, Zach Davies.

The New York Mets did get an outfielder before the deadline.  The Detroit Tigers sent Yoenis Cespedes to the Mets for two right handed pitchers Michael Fulmer and Luis Cessa.  Now that the non-waiver trade deadline is over, we will let the dust settle and see how the players perform for their new teams.  What are your thoughts on all of the trades? Listen in and call the show.

    Hosts: Darren Weeks, Nancy Levant

    COMPLETE SHOW NOTES AT: http://governamerica.com/radio/radio-archives/19712-govern-america-june-27-2015-public-executives

Stormy days, rainy nights, flooded out and under water. We talk about our adventures with recent storms, which cause us to revisit the issue of FEMA floodplain mapping, the National Flood Insurance Program, and how these programs are progressively being used to take away private property rights. Also, EPA and pesticides, highways for bees, water sales, and global warming doctors. Public administration and governance. Agenda 21 depopulation, mandatory vaccinations, control of food, and meals that glow in the dark. Greece-IMF negotiations at a standstill. Free Trade Fast-Track speeds through as Congressional traitors take money for their "yes" votes. Jobless claims up, while American standards of living, savings, and homeownership are down. Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary General Luis Almagro Lemes gives speech in which he talked about transparency, among other things. Why hasn't anyone ever heard of the OAS, apart from our listeners? Why are the agreements always kept from the people?
