The biggest struggle in life is the struggle to know, embrace, and accept ourselves, with all of our faults and imperfections. Many of us were raised by parents who were themselves victims - who were not taught to see their own worth, or who were not really seen by their own parents. Our grandparents generation faced massive trauma and upheaval due to the Second World War and the Great Depression. The focus was on survival and minimizing the damage, rather than on love, appreciation and intimacy. Individuals and families today face the challenges of long commutes, longer working hours, and global economic uncertainty. These stresses can beat us down, or make us build walls around ourselves that are so dense that even our dearest friends, partners, spouses and children can't get in. Yet, there is another way. “Love yourself. Forgive yourself. Be true to yourself. How you treat yourself sets the standard for how others will treat you.”
The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else.?~E. E. Cummings

Life is messy. Love is messy. Like everything else in life the more we know about it the better we are at it. There is a saying: practice makes perfect. I don't believe that. Perfect practice makes perfect! If we keep doing the wrong things over and over we won't get better at it. So today I am going to discuss 32 concepts that will improve every kind of loving relationship. These concepts will be great to have in your tool box for the next relationship you enter into. Life is all about learning how to love. We have discussed how to accept and love yourself and now we will discuss the ingredients for a happy relationship. Remember LOVE IS MESSY. Don't let that stop you from jumping into it. You will get hurt. All athletes know they will get injured sooner or later and that never stops them from playing their sport. Play the sport of love full out and play it with the skills necessary for you to become an expert lover!!
Being single does not have to be miserable. Here are a few things you can do to make yourself happy while waiting for Mr Right to show up:
Know that all you need to make yourself happy is you. Listen to happy music.
It helps to keep your mood and confidence up, which will help attract people to you.
Keep yourself occupied. Sitting around the house all day may be making you feel lonely - Get out there.
Even if you are just going to have a coffee with yourself, it's nice to be able to interact with other people.
Do things to make yourself feel beautiful. Give yourself a facial. Exfoliate.
Paint your nails. You will feel prettier afterwards.
Take a break sometimes. Just taking time to sit there and contemplate life is great.
Take deep breaths. Meditate. Just sit and think.
Have a girls (or a guys) night out. Go out with all your single friends, maybe to a bar and have fun trying to use corny pick up lines or trying to pick up the hottie sitting at the bar. emember!
And remember that because you're not in a relationship does not mean that you are worse off than someone who is in one. People who are single forget that relationships aren't always what they're cracked up to be. They are hard work and they need a lot of commitment 100% of the time!
An amazing passage in which Elisha sees heavenly chariots and horses surrounding and protecting them in a time of danger.
2 Kings 6:16-18New International Version (NIV)
16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
18 As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.
WHEN SUMMER COMES AROUND PEOPLE CHOOSE TO CLAIM THEY ARE SINGLE. BUT WHEN THEY COLD STARTS TO COME BACK ALL OF A SUDDEN PEOPLE WANT RELATIONSHIPS. WHAT IS THIS SECRETIVE GAME ABOUT? HAS THIS BEEN HAPPENING TO YOU? GIVE YOUR THOUGHTS
2 Kings 5:11-14New International Version (NIV)
11 But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?” So he turned and went off in a rage.
13 Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash and be cleansed’!” 14 So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.
