Hold the pickles, Hold the lettuce ACA health coverage doesn't have to upset us...
Discover on this episode of, “Would The Real ObamaCare Please Stand Up”, what defined contribution and private exchanges are all about and how they may be just what you want for your company's employees if you’re a small business owner.
Plus more details from federally certified ACA specialist Greg Howard on why the "Small Business Health Options Plan" or SHOP is probably NOT what you're looking for if you're trying to save money. Greg explains there are a lot of hidden "gotchas" in the SHOP plan and most business owners should avoid it all together.

This is part 3 of 4 in the series Be Seen and Heard. Today's focus is on the use of Presenting LIVE at Events (webinars, live events - the ones you are invited to, participate in, and the ones you create). You spend money for ads, for websites, for marketing materials; you spend money to set up your image to the world - but what you really are paying for, is the opportunity to be seen and heard. Before you spend another dollar to get the word out there, let's deconstruct from the results backwards because the end does justify the means.
RESULTS MATTER! The end DOES justify the means. If your goal is to get your message out there, about YOUR products, services, opportunities, then - no matter how fantastic, how awesome, how better than the rest; if no one knows about it, no money flows!
Ads, websites, marketing collateral; these are just SOME of the ways entrepreneurs and leaders get the word out to the public and invite them to consider their offer. There are multiple ways to get a message out, and those who are wise, test and tweak and engage multiple sensory options with their target market.
This show is part 1 in a series. Upcoming shows will explore Getting SEEN and HEARD via:
Part 1 Press Coverage
Part 2 The use of Social Media
Part 3 Getting Comfy Presenting LIVE at Events
Part 4 Reuptation Marketing. Your Public Image -online and off

Okay, Preseason is about to wrap up, but the injuries are starting to mount up. Every morning I'm reading about Player X being lost for an extended period of time due to an injury. Is it time to make some changes in regards to Preseason? Not reduce the number of games because I think the physical contact is needed to "get right" for the NFL.
I think it's time that they expand the roster to allow for more rookie free agents to join camp. That will boost the teams with enough members to actually have only rookies (and veterans on the verge of not making it) play and get evaluated by the coaches in games.
That would keep the vets away from harm until they played in the last Preseason game. Would that help or hurt things? It's hard to say, but we'll discuss it on the show.
Also, regardless of if they make changes to the formats for Preseason or not, the cost of admission to Preseason has to be reduced! Its ridiculous how some stadiums (AT&T Stadium) charges full price to see an exhibition game. What would be a fair reduction in your mind? 50% off? 25% off?
These things and Johnny Manziel giving the finger, and Mo'Ne Davis from Little League on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show! We'll break things down Zone Coverage style!

How the rest of the world sees Ferguson
In many ways, the chaotic situation in Ferguson, Mo., seems like something that shouldn't happen in America. As WorldViews has noted, many of the hallmarks of the conflict are reminiscent of scenes from the Arab Spring and the Ukraine crisis – our former colleague Max Fisher has even wondered how American journalists would cover Ferguson, if only it weren't happening "here."
There are plenty of foreign journalists reporting on Ferguson, however, and for them, Ferguson is international news. Their coverage of the shooting of Michael Brown and the subsequent unrest can offer a refreshing viewpoint on America's many problems. They can also reveal a lot about how such disturbances are viewed at home.
