On Tuesday's edition of All Subjects Everything, we changed our plans and talked about the Univeristy of Louisville's sex scandal, which got even wilder when former Cardinals men's basketball players admitted to attending parties thrown by the basketball staff which included strippers and sexual favors/liasons.
We also discussed why this scandal falls solely on the shoulders of Rick Pitino because this isn't first time at the rodeo with this kind of situation. As always, there will be more to the story coming, so expect more discussion on this in future shows as information becomes available.
Katina Powell, a self-described former escort, is the catalyst of a recruiting scandal involving the basketball program at the University of Louisville. It all started with a meeting with former player and graduate assistant Andre McGee. Powell told ESPN's Outside The Lines that she and her three daughters, along with several dancers, made several transactions for money with players, recruiting sponsors and others during parties at a dorm between 2010 and 2014. She's published a book "Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen", and she's built all the stories in a journal. There are many questions that linger in this story. I'll try to dissect this crazy, yet totally believable, story and try to guess what the consequences will be for Louisville and head coach Rick Pitino. Join me at (347) 308-8219 for a conversation about sex, money and basketball.
Louisville football started the season 0-3. Truly not what most expected, but all have come to know. LOTS of discussion throughout the fan base about what they see as the problem, but nowhere to talk about it freely, until now!
We'll devote time to that and turn to basketball in the second hour as practice starts shortly...How will that team fare in season 2 off ACC play? How will the new players fare? How will the returning ones do? What would surprise you?
Welcome to The War Room! This week, we'll discuss everything that happened in one of the wildest sports weeks we've seen in a while.
Michigan's blunder, the Colts' "fake punt" formation, the Louisville "tute" scandal, the latest on Lamar Odom's condition, and MUCH more.
As usual, we'll talk to Fred Perdue of About.com Sports about the week in college football.

A few short weeks ago, Boston College was 3-1 on the season. The main questions about the team didn't center on if they would ever win again; it instead asked how the newer players would be brought along to score points and get the team on the move as competition leveled off after Florida State. Teams like Wake Forest and Duke were on the horizon, keeping expectations around what fans considered normal.
Now sliding after a three-game losing streak, the Eagles are 3-4 with offensive points at a premium. They deconstructed and began reconstructing on the fly, with Jeff Smith named quarterback this past week. As players start to come back, the Eagles are improving, but the fear now is that the learning curve's gradient is too steep for them to consistently win football games.
Boston College now heads to Louisville facing questions on if they can win a football game. They took strides forward against the Clemson Tigers and played better. There were definite improvements in the Eagle game. But even though they hung tough in the first half, Clemson was simply better, and they pulled away en route to a 34-17 victory.
Dan and AJ will take a progress report of the Eagles and dissect the status of the different positions. They'll talk about the improvements made and the areas where there are still holes. They'll talk about how those need to get better and how they can actually fulfill that need.
Tune in at 8 PM as they discuss this and get ready for the Louisville Cardinals. In a disappointing ACC season, everything is wide open, which means this is a chance for the Eagles to get back on the winning track. Give us a call at 646-200-0446 as we discuss all that is going on in BC nation!
