    Martavis Bryant, friend zone weapon

    in Sports

    Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 128: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion loves workout metrics and should love Martavis Bryant more than any other human being on planet earth (population: 7.2 billion), but he doesn't.

    Martavis Bryant's size-adjusted workout metrics are extraordinary.

    Talking fantasy gamers out of Martavis Bryant is like convincing a woman to leave the man she loves.

    The siren's song of statistical extrapolation leads to sub-optimal fantasy football decision manking.

    Martavis Bryant has yet to be an every-down contributor either at Clemson or in Pittsuburgh.

    The extreme dichotomy between Martavis Bryant's efficiency metrics is confusing.

    Martavis Bryant posted an outstanding Yards Per Target paired with a below average Catch Rate in 2014.

    When efficiency metrics strongly conflict, analyzing game tape becomes valuable.

    Markus Wheaton watched Martavis Bryant score touchdowns in utter disbelief last year.

    Advanced metrics, prospect evaluations, and fantasy football information were provided by PlayerProfiler.com.

    What Entrepreneurs Need to Know About Effective Public Speaking

    in Business

    Some people would rather die than speak in front a group of people.  Yet it is important for Entrepreneurs to be able to communicate effectively about the product or services they offer to groups of people.  I have been speaking in front of people since the age of three when I delivered my line in a church Tom Thumb Wedding.  I guess I had a talent for public speaking, or at least I didn't let fear keep me from the spotlight.  One of the things I enjoyed most about Pastoral Ministry was delivering the Sunday Morning Sermon and I trained church members in the fine art of sermon delivery  In this episode I want to share with you a few things I believe can help you be an effictive public speaker.

    In this episode you will:

    Understand that fear is your friend;
    Understand ways to emotionally prepare yourself to speak in public;
    Understand how to use your Diaphragm effectively when speaking in public.

    FA Cup final preview podcast: Can Villa beat Arsenal at Wembley?

    in Soccer

    We're back, and we've got an entire hour devoted to talking about the Burnley match. N'Zogbia sure was a weird left back choice, right? And how about that time when... uh... actually I don't even really remember the Burnley match. And we're barely touching on it this week.

    Why?

    Well because the is FA Cup final week. We're here to take a look at everything surrounding Saturday's trip to Wembley. What do Villa have to do to beat Arsenal? Can we finally score a goal on the Gunners this year? Will we be able to liit their damage to fewer than the four goals they've averaged against us.

    To help us figure this all out, we've got Travis King from The Short Fuse to give us a bit of an Arsenal perspective. Don't worry, we checked. He's a decent human being.

    May 27, 2015, 10pm (PDT) - Prophecy and Predictions with John Hogue

    in Paranormal

    Over the past 30 years, I must have studied enough on my own to become a Rhodes Scholar but I attained no degrees, short of the minimum requirement–a high school diploma–in 1974. More than this degree in society’s de-education of my intelligence was too much to bear. The price for a further dulling of intelligence required I assume too many others’ degrees of BS, BMs, acidic PhDs of borrowed knowledge. Thus after a number of interesting adventures, nervous breakthroughs and jumps into the unknown, I currently, and somewhat cheekishly, go by the title “Rogue” scholar.

    I define myself this way because I am in rebellion with education in general. I see it as the root cause of perpetuating fossilized traditions and human misery. I specifically rebel against the famous dictum ‘those who do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them.’

    I propose that those who teach the lessons of history have done a lousy job and therefore have doomed us to repeat the lessons of history.

    We teach each new generation to repeat the past and call it the future and that past is full of false promises, aggression and war. The costumes and technology may change but essentially the same fearful, judgmental, aggressive and warmongering human pathologies are spoon fed to the young until they turn green with it and believe as they are told that this color of prejudiced perception is ‘normal.’ If war, and aggression is to end, then programming each new generation to repeat the past has to end. I therefore strive in my books on past and future history to expose the taken-for-granted flaws in perception.

    I have written 18 books and counting on the tradition of prophecy; in other words, the ancient fascination half baked with true paranormal intuition, topped with good educated guesses. They have been printed and passed out 1.3 million copies published in 19 languages.
