Lorna Luft, one of Judy Garland's talented daughters, celebrates her mother's incredible contributions to the world of entertainment in this popular episode. Lorna, an accomplished performer in her own right, has won acclaim on stage, film and TV. Plus she’s also a best-selling author, recording artist and Emmy-nominated producer. Her book, "Me and My Shadows: Living with the Legacy of Judy Garland," was optioned by ABC-TV and turned into a riveting miniseries starring Judy Davis. Lorna served as co-executive producer on that project, which won 5 Emmy Awards. Another of Lorna’s impressive accomplishments is a multi-media production, "Songs My Mother Taught Me," a spectacular concert combining one of the world’s most familiar songbooks with her personal memories of her famous mother. A CD based on this event was released on First Night Records. Film critics James Colt Harrison and Diana Saenger join Lorna in paying tribute to Judy Garland.
Her mom was Judy Garland. Her sister is Liza Minelli and her Godfather was Frank Sinatra. LORNA WOOLDRIDGE has a Bachelor of Education degree from Bath College of Higher Education in England, and holds a Certificate of Professional Practice from Roehampton Institute in London: "Teaching Children with Reading and Writing Difficulties/Dyslexia." Lorna is certified by the Dyslexia Training Institute, and is experienced in implementing the Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching. She has also completed the DTI Dyslexia Advocacy Certification Course and the Orton-Gillingham Online Academy Basic Language Course (Based on Orton-Gillingham Principles.)
Lorna has a unique perspective on this condition as she is dyslexic herself.
PHIL WOOLDRIDGE has a Masters Degree in Engineering and brings twenty five years of experience as a consultant, team leader and homeschool science teacher.
Lorna O has worked on many shows including "The Sheild" and "Daybreak" and now is looking to find success in her own tv show.
She has written a pilot for a tv show called "Mercy Road" and is asking for input from the public so she can produce so she can gage what the audeince wants.
We will talk to her about her storyline and her thought processes in writing.

Having peformed with some of the great in rock and country, Donica Knight has been a road warrior. Having performed over 350 times across the southeast opening for Kid Rock, Luke Bryan, and the Band Perry, she also has sung duets with country legend Ronnie Milsap.
We will talk to Knight about her new single "Love Ain't a Prize" and writing music for television movies.

THE EBONYS a 70’s group that brought the soulful Philadelphia sounds to a nation. The original Ebonys auditioned for Philadelphia International Records and was later signed to a recording contract. The Ebonys went on to release two albums, one of which reached the top of the pop charts. In 1995 Sony Records along with Collectable Records released a CD titled “ It’s Forever” in the United States and Japan. In 1996 Platinum Classic Records released the ‘Grove Me’ CD also featuring “It’s Forever”.
WDAS Radio Station of Philadelphia recently released a CD titled ‘WDAS Classic Love Songs’ and once again the hit song “It’s Forever” was featured. Currently, these CD’s are being played on radio stations across the country and abroad.
David Beasley, one of the former lead singers of the original Ebonys, was born and raised in Camden, NJ and has been making music all his life. In July of 1997 The Ebonys were reborn and included four incredible vocalists, David Beasley, William “Smoke” Howard, Nate Cephas, and Toni Calloway. A fifth vocalist, the late McKensey Crawford, joined The Ebonys as background singer to enhance their harmony. David retired from The Ebonys group in 2001 and McKensey Crawford became the lead 1st tenor and retired in Jan. 2012 and was replaced with veteran 1st tenor, Ken Chaney. Our female vocalist, Lorna Dixon retired in
2013 and Geneva “Neva” Wilkes became our only female vocalist. Nate Cephas retired in
