Lori Saitz (pronounced Sites) is a nationally recognized expert in using gratitude to boost client retention, increase referral business and improve business development efforts. She is the founder and CEO of Zen Rabbit, which is a concierge type company specializing in “multiplying profits through sweet appreciation.”
Lori works with business owners & sales teams to make it easy for them to keep more of their clients for longer by incorporating appreciation tactics into their existing marketing strategies. Zen Rabbit is also known for making The Gratitude Cookie™, a delicious cross between a butter and a sugar cookie that has been used by hundreds of companies worldwide to say thank you.
Lori has been playing - she says playing because she has so much fun - at marketing and communications for more than 20 years. She’s been a radio personality in South Florida. She has served as a pre-GED teacher and an adult literacy tutor and is a strong proponent for increasing literacy worldwide.
In addition to running Zen Rabbit, she is a voice over talent (so if you ever need someone to record your voice mail message or the voice part of a slide show or recorded webinar, call her!).
Lori spends her spare time at the gym – which makes sense if she’s eating Gratitude Cookies all the time. She’s an enthusiastic proponent for worldwide literacy. And you may find her perusing the racks at Ann Taylor, which she claims contributes to inspiring her creativity.

My guest is Lori Tybon, a Green Status Presenter for Younique Cosmetics (that's Y-O-U-nique!). Lori's background includes 15 years in executive leadership for a Fortune 100 company. Lori has owned and operated several small businesses, including a franchise business.
Lori's embarked on a new adventure that she is clearly passionate about and gives her much more time with her kids, and still allows her to be the amazing entrepreneur that she is. Lori operates on a bigger level in that she zealously mentors and promotes her team members. Lori's the type of person who "feels the fear and does it anyway" ~ she was a pioneer using Facebook live video to promote her business. To me, "Lori" is synonymous with "Leader" who inspires her customers and colleagues (and friends) alike! In Lori's own words, she says, "I love being a Younique Presenter…I feel so empowered by this business!"

Lori Llyn, formerly part of the duo Crystal Rose, joins RevKess and KaliSara to talk about ther 2015 release Motherland. Lori will be one of 29 musical acts to appear on stage at Caldera Fest.
KaliSara, RevKess, and Lori will be talking about her musical career and the many transitions it has gone through leading up to the present. What is it like to write a Rock Opera inspired by a dream? That any more will be shared on this music filled episode.
Lori describes herself, in part: "Through the years I've taken many musically artistic turns, but the common thread that seems to keep it all together is that I am inspired to both listen to and write music that elevates the human spirit. I've always seen my musical path as a journey, and sometimes trying to find that perfect label can be maddening for an artist. Through my professional life I've been primarily known as a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist; drawing influences from world music, ancient European and Celtic folk music, classical music and classic rock."
Her July 2015 release of Motherland is described on BandCamp as: "This album offers a diverse collection of songs and chants inspired by sacred land of Avalon. If you like vocal rounds, community chanting, or just want to enter into this magical world for a while, then this CD may just be something you are looking for."
Lori recently performed at PantheaCon 2016 and will appear on stage at CalderaFest.

Not many artists come up with the best work of their career three decades in, but happily Lori Yates has done just that.
Sweetheart of the Valley, her 7th recording, shows that the honky-tonk heroine is at the very top of her game. This stellar collection of new songs showcase her twin talents as a compelling songwriter and the possessor of a voice that few can equal.
When it came time to record a follow up to her award-winning acoustic "The Book of Minerva", she called in roots heavyweights & bandmates Hey Stella! - Bazil Donovan (Blue Rodeo, Doug Paisley), David Baxter (Justin Rutledge, Kim Beggs), Michelle Josef (Etta James, Prairie Oyster). The results are being heralded as "An dark alt-country masterpiece." Lori Yates reclaims her title as queen of Canada's country singer-songwriters". (GR, Hamilton Spectator)
This enigmatic, rebellious and hard to pin down veteran singer/songwriter, Yates adeptly blends country, folk, rockabilly and cow-punk to create her own award-winning sound and style of writing. (Songwriter of the Year & Alt-Country Album of the Year, Hamilton Music Awards 2007).
One of Canada's roots/americana pioneers, she still has the same scrappy spirit and determination as she did when she first burst onto the Toronto Queen St. W. scene of the late '80"s as the "cowgirl singing her heart out in the rock clubs". Lori has been called "alt-country" long before the phrase existed.
This is as artist who met Johnny Cash, hung out with Tammy Wynette, wrote with Guy Clark, jammed with Jerry Jeff Walker, partied with Harlan Howard, recorded with Greg Allman and ate jelly beans with Roy Acuff!
