In a Synagogue in Antioch of Pisidia (middle of Turkey) Paul was invited to present a word of exhortation. When he stood to do so, out of his mouth came a marvelous presentation of the Gospel of Jesus (God's good news to Israel).
He sketches out how God fulfilled the two great Promises: one to Abraham and one to David. These were the foundation of Israel's hope; and in them, the hope of glory for the Gentiles as well.
One thing to specially note is how often Paul connects the message about Jesus to "this people Israel."
Also note: the similarities between Paul's message and the warnings of the prophets regarding the earlier fall of Jerusalem. Only those who followed the voice of God's prophet escaped the first time; so it will be in Paul's case.

Gratitude Night !! On this Thanksgiving evening, we'll pause to give expressions of our gratitude for our recovery from child abuse and trauma, and express our desire that we can be effective in our mission .. (1) to educate the public to stop the silence and (2) to offer hope and help to the still suffering adult survivor of child abuse. Wearing a Blue Ribbon is the symbol of Child Abuse Awareness! Millions of abuse victims (men and women) hide the story of their experience well into adulthood. A huge number continue to suffer from pain, anger, fear, shame and embarrassment for decades. Most will agree their traumas have resulted in an inability to trust, make good decisions and have healthy relationships. But giving up the secret is often how recovery begins, one survivor talking to another. Join Bill Murray and his co-hosts, panelists and guests, many of them abuse survivors, others supporters and friends, for an informed discussion of the many important issues that surround child abuse. Anonymous calls and chat room participation are encouraged. ~~ Please see our web site at: www.NAASCA.org

This show's objective is perpetuate peace among all people, as the foundation of all universes is based on "Mitakuye Oyas'in". The Lakota Star Knowledge definition of "Mitakuye Oyas'in" is that before you can be at peace with all the relatives throughout all universes, you must first have peace among all the relatives within your own inner universe. The mind, body, soul and emotions are all connected to each other. When you do your best in nurturing these four parts, you will establish peace within yourself. Only then are you able to be at peace with all creation around you.
