032: Setting goals that go beyond SMART

    in Entrepreneur

Most companies set goals, but not all companies can successfully implement their goals. For corporate initiatives to be successful, the corporate goals need to be shared with the rest of the company to establish division, department, and individual goals.

The idea seems simple enough but keeping the goals relevant to the corporate initiatives as they trickle down through different channels of the company can be difficult.  Goals can become loose, irrelevant, and meaningless if not done correctly resulting in wasted time and initiatives not being achieved.

For companies that already have a culture of goal setting, you’ll learn techniques for setting and achieving goals that go beyond the basic SMART methods.

If your company is not in the habit of setting goals or is just starting to think about them you’ll find this information useful in making a case in favor of goal setting.

The Women of Christmas: Experience the Season Afresh with Liz Curtis Higgs

    in The Bible

This on demand audio series is a part of the Executive Girlfriends Group Vignette Series. Chicke Fitzgerald interviews Liz Curtis Higgs. The original live interview was 12/19/14.

Liz is the author of more than 30 books, with 4.5 million copies in print. Her latest release, The Women of Christmas, is a heartwarming Bible study wrapped inside a beautiful gift book. Verse by verse, Liz unpacks the biblical stories of Elizabeth, Mary, and Anna, who each welcome the Christ child into the world in a marvelous and miraculous way.

A sacred season is about to unfold for three women whose hearts belong to God.
Elizabeth is barren, yet her trust in God remains fertile. Mary is betrothed in marriage, yet she is willing to bear God’s Son. Anna is a widow full of years, yet she waits patiently, prayerfully for the Messiah to appear in the temple courts. Best-selling author Liz Curtis Higgs explores the biblical stories of Elizabeth, Mary, and Anna, unwrapping each verse with tender care and introducing you afresh to The Women of Christmas. Her messages are biblical, encouraging, down-to-earth, and profoundly funny, helping both sisters and seekers embrace the truth of God’s amazing, unchanging grace.

In her best-selling Bad Girls of the Bible series, Liz breathed new life into ancient tales about the most infamous—and intriguing—women in history, from Jezebel to Mary Magdalene.

    in Self Help

    Liz Hanley Raci:   Angel book

Wendy J. Vitalich   OCEAN BLESSINGS:  http://www.oceanblessings.com/

A few years ago I started taking walks to the ocean, mostly to clear my head and feel centered when my life was on shakey ground. I realized that the ocean and its beauty was very healing for me and I became very motivated and inspired to go to the ocean for my blessings as much as possible. I began to take photos of the amazing ocean and it's waves and all the birds that gathered for their blessings. I showed a few of my friends my photos and pretty soon I was asked to keep sharing them as they brought joy and healing to others. Ocean Blessings came to me effortlessly and the vision I caught has pulled me to create this book of 50 of my inspirational quotes along with photos of the ocean and sunsets. In wanting to share the healing power of the ocean, I also created 2015 wall and desk calendars along with greeting cards so people can bring it home with them.

Liz Raci is an Agape Spiritual Practitioner and has taught with Rev. Michael B Beckwith in the Science of Mind One classes for many years. She also was a speaker at the Revelation Youth Conference which is in its 28th year.  Liz has taught teens in the science of mind teaching at both the Agape International Spiritual Center and North Hollywood Church of Religious Science for twenty years.  Liz is a small business owner, wife, and mother

Last Show Until After The Holiday Season

    in Politics Conservative

This is the last episode until January 5th so don't miss it! ~~~~

Splash runs the gambit: Jeb Bush, Hillary Clinton, Obama on Cuba, The right jumps all over Jeb, Liz Warren jumping  all over everyone. Russia is on the brink of disaster .... Awwww..... and oil continues to do the American consumer good. ~~~~

The House is already gone .... The Senate leaves soon. With both Chambers gone until after the New Year rings in. When they come back things will be vastly different. With the GOP in the driver's seat in  Congress and Obama still wielding his phone and pen, there is much opportunity for compromise and even greater chance of disasterous head butting. ~~~~

But right now it's Christmas so maybe Santa will bring us something to cheer about in Washington. ~~~~

Wishing you all a GREAT Holiday season and we will see you next year, but DON'T MISS THIS SHOW!!!
