Political Economic history teaches that systemic problems require systemic solutions.
As George Carlin told us, "The system ain't broke. Its fixed!" Yes. Fixed against the best interests of the 99%.
"Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day." - Thomas Jefferson.
"The most prevalent censorship today is censorship of any thoughts outside of corporate ideaology. Information which leads to critical thought on the established power structure is omitted from public consciousness. The more important something is, the less it is reported (by lamestream Fawning Corporate Media) " - David DeGraw
Opening theme: "It's a Crime to tell the truth" by Tom Neilson (our guest on 11/21/14)
Tonite's program: What's it like to live in a household dependant upon WalMart wages.
We'll hear from Jodda, who lives in one such household.
We'll listen to and discuss "WalMart" by singer/songwriter David Rovics. Singer/songwriter Ben Grosscup performs "WalMart Sells" and (hopefully) we'll have an update from one or more activist/political organizations which demand living wages and who demonstrated on this Black Friday.Including Tom Bias from the NJ Industrial Union Council, $15Now NJ and the (democratic) Socialist Party of the United States.
Our closing theme, "For the 99" by singer/songwriter Jim Clerico (Sandkickin' Music on You Tube)
Please join us to learn about Chemtrails, facts and theories. Could Government weather manipulation, crowd control and behavoir modification tactics be rooted in Chemtrails?
Joining us is our special guest singer/songwriter Jeff Saxon who produced the Best Music Video at the 2012 Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles, "Murdering Us From The Sky."
The more I researched, Jeff Saxon wrote, the more I realized "It’s (chemtrails) more sinister than even the darkest sci-fi or horror movie."
Also joing us is Chemtrail activist, noted authority, and radio host of Global Skywatch, Russ Tanner who wrote,
"If you live on planet Earth, you should be profoundly concerned about chemical aerosols ("chemtrails.") They affect everyone, have already shortened your lifespan, and are the largest and most deadly crime against humanity in human history!"
This week's 90 minute program will feature guest Tom Neilson, and then continue with Part Two of Student Loan Debt - a new class of debt slaves. California Lynn, a CPA with an MBA who has written extensively about healthcare costs and student loan debt servicing will take calls if time allows. She may be contacted at: TheGreenCPA@aol.com. We will aIso hear from Brian Powers, NJ's driving force behind $15Now with a local and national update on $15Now and its push for living wages.
Tom Neilson, musician and activist, will discuss his music including this program's opening theme, Its a Crime (to tell the truth), That was the Week 2013, and Four Years of College. Tom has tweaked, massaged, and added to Four Years of College's original lyrics written by Ben Grosscup and Ferd Wulcan.
Tom plays at festivals, union halls, colleges, national conferences, cafes, house concerts, & at political and social gatherings. He particularly enjoys the personal connections provided by house concerts and has performed for countless benefits and causes. His music has been used in nine documentaries, as he tells the stories of people’s struggles against greed & violence, interjecting a good deal of levity along the way. If you ask him, he'll tell you he's just a farm boy with a guitar who loves a good ball game and human rights.
Parenting is really hard, but it's especially hard if you're the parent of a child with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. There's so much advice being thrown your way, a lot of it telling you to be more firm, more consistent, and more diligent with the rewards and punishments. If all those sticker charts, time-outs, screaming matches, arguments have you feeling like a lot of parents do -- isolated, frustrated, and desperate -- well, you've found a program that can help. On this program, Dr. Ross Greene -- author of The Explosive Child and originator of the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach -- helps parents understand challenging behavior and overcome many of the hurdles involved in implementing his model. It's very hard work...and this is a great opportunity to call in, ask questions, get the support you need, and or just listen to other parents or relatives who are dealing with similar real-life issues. The program airs every Monday at 11 am Eastern time from September through May. Sponsored by Dr. Greene's non-profit, Lives in the Balance (www.livesinthebalance.org).
