I was born in South Africa; I am only a second generation South African. I have 400+ years of American blood flowing through me. I have lived through and seen the utter devastation in my country and have lost much through the brutal violence in South Africa like so many of my fellow folk.
I do not have a fancy education but I am a giver, I live to serve my God and my people. I am involved with South African Family Relief Project. I am directly responsible for clothing and feeding White South African Families that are in crisis.
My name is Niall Mac Áibaicín and I currently live in Co. Donegal, Ireland. I lived in South Africa for approximately 20 years until the end of 2009 and worked as a financial and budgets manager as well as an academic director in universities within South Africa, Switzerland and Germany. My area of academic work was in Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior. I specialized in Leadership and Emotional Intelligence. The last few years of my time in South Africa were spent working as a volunteer for an Irish government funded organization in KwaZulu-Natal setting up clinics for HIV, Aids and TB within a squatter camp and in a remote rural area.
Having married in South Africa and with two children who were born there, all of whom are now, thankfully, living in Ireland, I developed a great love for South African and its entire people. On the other hand I am glad that we do not live there any longer, given the rapid increase in rates of violence and murder within South African society.

We think we can... we think we can... we think we can...
This new season of At Eye Level is all about getting in touch with our roots, as well as renewal. We've re-committed ourselves to producing a great, fun show that's entertaining and informative. We're doing our best and will only try harder. That said, this week we're going to keep the momentum going... and going... and going...
We're just gonna keep on winging it and we're not gonna stop! It'll be just like the old days, where we thought no one was listening. Whatever comes up, whoever calls in, it's all fair game. Of course the rules will still apply about being honest, original and not hating, but... if you want to have fun, let's have some fun. If you want to get serious, we can do that too. Don't waste our time and we won't waste yours. Let's do this thing. already!
If we're lucky, our friend David D will call in again this week. We really look forward to what he has to bring to the show, now and in the future. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of sports, especially baseball, so he can talk that with you for hours, but he also has insights into things like politics and human behavior, that will fascinate you.
As usual, all that's missing is you. Feel free to join the conversation. Whether it's live or via email, Facebook or Twitter, we want to hear from you!
ia to Libya, on Radio Revolution.
Indeed, from Liberia to Libya the past couple years we have seen imperialist interventions whether under the guise of health or humanitarianism, the continued economic colonialism and enslavement of the African continent, in both North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, has continued into the 21st century. Will a Lumumba or Mandela emerge as a new leader to fight the continued oppression of the West, in particular the US empire and NATO gangsters? We discuss this scenario, guests are free to call in or ask questions in chat box, facebook, etc.
Shalom everyone, i originally was supposed to do a show on Naturalization, voting and why we as Blacks don't express or utilize the natural rights of being a American Citizen that others flock here from other countries to enjoy and covet. Instead I will be playing clips and commenting on a book I just bought based off having listened to a radio show.
Everyone should know by bnow that i created this show for the North American Black woman to tell (our) true story of how we have been being treated correction mis-treated over here in North America better known as Hell, Hades aka The Underworld while the Media, our men and the international community has painted us all as gold digging, whores and sluts who are trying ever so hard to be white women because of how much we hate ourselves.
While I will not deny that there may be some truth to all of the above epitets, what is not known is (how) we got (reduced) to all of those very demeaning, negative and degrading labels as well as images of crackheads, beasties and gregariously loud, loose women.
There are so many players who played a part and had a hand in making us that way who somehow are allowed to walk amongst us and dress themselves up in the garments of respectabilty and reverence while at the same time really being MONSTERS children are never allowed to escape from.
Trust me, you dont want to miss this show. Especially if you are a Sister who has survived rape X 9, neglect and abuse but are still alive to talk about it and can still laugh, love and hold your head up high and be a blessing to another surviver sister. When it is alluded to that Black Women are the STRONGEST species of woman on the earth, it is only because of our ability to overcome and endure that which have completely broken and or DESTROYED other women.
