Lights Out Welcomes Anthony Canerossi of MSLI

    in Paranormal

Born and raised within the small town of West Babylon NY, Anthony Canerossi has been intrigued with the paranormal field for most of his life. Beginning at the age of 16 he had his first encounter with the realm of paranormal and from there felt the allure of the other side. Anthony started out investigating many areas of his home town with a small group of individuals including his brother Michael Canerossi. Throughout his tenure as a paranormal investigator Anthony has come in contact with many notable paranormal phenomena and has investigated some of Long Islands most prolific paranormal hot spots. In early 20014 Anthony decided to embark upon a new paranormal endeavor by enlisting a crew of paranormal investigators including his friend and paranormal enthusiast Michael Lentricia, known to his peers as simply Jackson. While the group was in its preliminary stages they settled upon the name "The Midnight Society of Long Island". Since then the group has had its fair share of investigations and continues to divulge the truth that lies behind many of our great Long Island legends.

Lights Out Welcomes Lisa Lamrock Host of Beyond The Veil

    in Paranormal

Lisa was born in Flint, MI and was relocated to Texas as a child. Her first paranormal experience was at the age of seven, seeing her deceased siblings (that she was unaware of until many years later) very vividly playing in the halls of the home. Also witnessed by her brother. She closed herself off to the paranormal due to the stigma attached until 2011 when the field became more widely accepted and of course has had many experiences since. She started investigating with large groups and solo investigators for experience until around 2013 when she was invited into a small group called 24 Hour Paranormal. After investigating with 24 Hour and gaining more experience Lisa decided to form her own group with her own visions April 1, 2014 which was called Southern Paranormal Investigation and Research Society. In 2014 SPIRS became affiliates with TCPS (The Canadian Paranormal Society) and NMPA (New Mexico Paranormal Association).  In 2015 Lisa helped organize Mineral Wells’ first Paracon and became Co-Host of Paranormal Swamp Talk with Jon McCoy 4/2015. September of 2015 Lisa began hosting her own show, Beyond the Veil, that she still produces on Sundays 6-7p CST. Lisa decided to return to solo investigating to focus more time and attention on spiritual growth, the show and traveling more in 2016 but still investigates with groups and on emergency residential cases.

THE NIGHT THE LIGHTS WHEN OUT IN GEORGIA ... AND ALL OF THE UNITED STATES

    in Current Events

"A cyberattack! A nation unprepared! Surviving the aftermath!"  These are the words on the cover of Ted Koppel's new political nonfiction book LIGHTS OUT.

Koppel sums up our show this week with:  "Imagine a blackout lasting not days, but weeks or months. Tens of millions of people over several states are affected. For those without access to a generator, there is no running water, no electricity. Food and medical supplies are dwindling. Devices we rely on have gone dark. Banks no longer function, looting is widespread, law and order are being tested as never before.

"It isn’t just a scenario. A well-designed attack on just one of the nation’s three electric power grids could cripple much of our infrastructure—and in the age of cyberwarfare, a laptop has become the only necessary weapon. Several nations hostile to the United States could launch such an assault at any time. In fact, as a former chief scientist of the NSA reveals, China and Russia have already penetrated the grid. And a cybersecurity advisor to President Obama believes that independent actors—from “hacktivists” to terrorists—have the capability as well. 'It’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when.'"

"The federal government has no plan for the aftermath of an attack on the power grid.  The current Secretary of Homeland Security suggests keeping a battery-powered radio.

"In the absence of a government plan, some individuals and communities have taken matters into their own hands, but will ordinary civilians survive?

"With urgency and authority, one of our most renowned journalists examines a threat unique to our time and evaluates potential ways to prepare for a catastrophe that is all but inevitable."

When the lights go out in America ... will you be prepared?
