In this episode we discuss how we all could work less and be more productive under a technologically driven socialist economy and society. Today there are over 7 billion people on the planet, but yet the majority of us work just as hard and as long as we were working a hundred years ago. While technology has automated many of the jobs and tasks people used to perform, technlogical unemployement under capitalism has lead to more unemployment, lower pay, and more work hours—that is, except for the rich elite. So listen in, and let's talk about work and leisure under socialism.

In October, 1929, America its worst economic situation to date: the Great Depression. For the next decade, FDR managed to create new programs (some of which were ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court) for America and Americans. The Gold Reserve Act of 1934 illegally forced Americans to "exchange" their gold for paper money or face prison time. Other government agencies like National Recovery Act (NRA), came into existence and forced businesses to abide by their rules. The NRA also urged people to spy on neighbors, reminiscent of the DHS' "If you see something, say something" mentality.
