Monday, February 23rd, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson allowed a new law to block future anti-discrimination laws (to go into effect 90 days after the legislative session ends later this summer). While the premise of the new law known as SB 202 appears reasonable, in actuality this law allows legal discrimination for all non-protected classes.
In this episode, we hear from three Arkansas residents. Meet once again Scott Wyant, Founder of Straight Talk Arkansas, a website dedicated to Living liberally in the Mid-South.
We'll also hear from Cathey Shoshone and Christina Harrison. Cathey is the Co-Chair and Christina is the Founder of Arkansans For Equality.
Christina Harrison was born and raised in Arkansas. She founded Arkansans for Equality in 2011. As an ally, she had become frustrated with the bigotry she came across towards our fellow Arkansans in the LGBTQ community and wanted to do something to help. She began a ballot initiative to repeal Amendment 83 soon after. Christina is a combat veteran in the Army National Guard, and has just recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan.
Cathey Shoshone, also an ally, was born in Arkansas but has lived in several states around the South. She lives in Arkansas currently, She "liked" the Arkansan for Equality facebook page and volunteered to collect signatures for the ballot initiative. The ballot initiative became obsolete when Cheryl Maples and Jack Wagoner won their case in Judge Piazza's courtroom legalizing same-sex marriage. A federal case has also overthrown Amendment 83 to the Arkansas State Constitution. This decision has been stayed pending an appeal hearing.

Politics, Crises, ISISILes, Crashes, Ukrainian Nazis and Calamities – Welcome to the Empire of Chaos – it is a Politicalamity! The Summit on Countering Violent Extremism was held in DC as the US military is dispatched around the world to spread ‘peace and democracy’ through the use of violence. At home we’re bickering about which side of the political divide has the right answers and all the ‘moderates’ lob the label ‘extremist’ at everyone else. The more ‘moderate’ ‘peaceful’ and ‘democratic’ we become the more enmity we seem to foment..
Do you support the Constitution? EXTREMIST! Have you the courage to criticize the ‘left’ AND the ‘right’ especially pertaining to the US Government’s economic and foreign policy? EXTREMIST! Do you follow the diktats of the Qur’an? EXTREMIST! But, if you merely support those who actually follow the diktats of the Qur’an, well, then you’re a moderate. This politicalamity does not begin in the District of Calamity–it begins in your mind.
Tyranny persists UNLESS liberty-loving people band together to restore Constitutional governance from your own neighborhood on up by restoring The Constitutional Militia of the Several States, sound money, free economies, religious and civil liberties as well as a sensible foreign policy of trade, friendship and non-interventionist defense backed up by the most powerful Navy and Marines; or watch the fascists in both parties push transnational agendas. Now is the last chance to stop those who perpetuate an empire abroad and a police state at home. To defeat the fascist oligarchs especially the Democrat-socialists, first you MUST CRUSH the Neocons...for liberty!

Our in depth discussion with Dr. Darrin Hanna and David Ballenberger, MSW of Next Step Solutions: a software organization that is heavy on development and light on marketing agendas.
NextStep™ has developed a digital pen system and embedded artificial intelligence into their EHR. Sounds unbelievable right? A science fiction movie, maybe? We saw it action at their office and while we visited several of their clients. NextStep™ has clients across the United States using their award-winning software for behavioral health private practices, research clinics, residential programs, outpatient agencies and state hospitals. It was a pleasure to sit down with Dr. Darrin Hanna and David Ballenberger, MSW to discuss their product, their organization, and what the future holds for behavioral health technology.

From what they're all "about" page:
" ... Each broadcast features long-form interviews with writers, thinkers and workers from around the world and across the spectrum of experience. Our interviews are built on research and critical analysis, not preconceived opinions or political agendas. This is Hell! is not a soap box, or a pulpit, or an audition for a corporate job somewhere. It’s a bar stool, three beers into a conversation with a fascinating stranger. It’s the news-stand of your dreams that would go broke in the real world. ..."
