In the "We should really be watching Jacob deGrom instead" edition, Jeffrey and Greg made the mistake of scheduling their host segments while Jacob deGrom was breaking records and stuff. So get ready for short and disjointed commentary on the Mets dashed playoff dreams, stompgate, and how being a Mets fan is kind of icky now. Fortunately we have a couple guests to do the heavy lifting. First, Jay Jaffe of SI.com talks about various Mets Hall of Fame cases. When will Mike Piazza get in? Will David Wright get in? And is there any hope for John Olerud? Then, Jason Wojciechowski of Beaneball and Baseball Prospectus is here to discuss the Castergine lawsuit in more lawyerly detail. And of course, we wrap things up with your e-mails, wherein Jeffrey threatens to quit #MetsTwitter again.

Join us as we shine the spotlight on the world’s sauciest authors dedicated to the realms of BDSM, GLBT, and Erotica. Write On the Edge asks the questions few dare. It pushes the limits and creates the standard of steamy, intelligent converse. This show is intended for an Adult Audience and is rated R for raw, real and risky subject matter. Are you ready to be …Write on the Edge?
This week’s Featured Author is . . . Mary Calmes!
Mary Calmes lives in Lexington, Kentucky, with her husband and two children and loves all the seasons except summer. She graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, with a bachelor's degree in English literature. Due to the fact that it is English lit and not English grammar, do not ask her to point out a clause for you, as it will so not happen. She loves writing, becoming immersed in the process, and falling into the work. She can even tell you what her characters smell like. She loves buying books and going to conventions to meet her fans.
Check out Mary's website! Buy her books here!
Join Author Vicktor Alexander as he hosts this edgy, woefully delicious talk held in the whispers of the night each Thursday at 10pm central. OH, THE WOE!

Tonight, on "Convention Buzz", let's talk about the Scare-A-Con that I attended last weekend in Verona, NY and ScareFest that happened concurrently in Lexington, KY. If you attended either of these shows, we'd like to hear about your experiences and what you liked or disliked. Of course, you're also welcomed to speak of any other show, too.
Call in tonight beginning at 9:00 PM (Eastern) to be a part of the show. The call in number is (646) 668-8612.
About me and my show: I'm Sal Lizard. I am an actor and entertainer. And I often appear at conventions to meet fans and sign autographs. I've learned that there are good conventions and some that aren't so good. But that's my opinion and yours might be different. This radio program igive promoters, actors, and vendors, a chance to plug and "pimp" their events and everyone to discuss their convention experiences -- good or bad.
Note: Sal Lizard's "Convention Buzz" is a weekly unscripted, unrehearsed, and uncensored entertainment show presented through the BlogTalkRadio network. Due to language used and content of an adult nature,it is not generally appropriate for all audiences. Callers are recorded and the recordings are available in the show archives. Callers may receive cash and/or merchandise prizes for their participation in the show or its contests.
Our guests this morning are Michael and Royce Morales, proprietors of Harmony Works located on Catalina Avenue in Riviera Village.
Michael Morales was born in Inglewood and attended Santa Monica College where he majored in Art. He has been a Massage Therapist for the last 28 years. He is very active in the community having served as President of the Riviera Village Association for 14 years, Chairman of the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce (2009-2010) and Chairman of the Chamber’s Economic Development Council. He also sits on the Chamber’s Government Relations Council, the Tourism Committee, the Executive Board of the Redondo Beach Roundtable, the board of the South Bay Area Chambers of Commerce and on the South Bay Workforce Investment Board
Royce Morales was born in West Los Angeles and attended Cal State Northridge where she received her B.A. in art. She is the founder, developer and director of the Perfect Life Awakening course, an accelerated “inner-makeover” teaching that offers self-development, communication and life skills. Her teachings have been brought to thousands of people since 1977. In 1994, out of her passionate involvement with ecology, art and spirituality, Royce created Harmony Works, an eclectic, trailblazing, green retail shop and hand-craft gallery.
This morning we’re going to discuss Third Thursdays which takes place on the third Thursday of every month in Riviera Village and it’s my understanding that Royce & Michael were instrumental in putting together this popular event.

Proverbs 11:1-5 (KJV)
1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
