She has done research to show how lesbians frequently "urge to merge" which creates specific relational behavoirs that lesbians suffer from. Her Book Lesbian Love Addiction:Understanding the Urge to Merge and How to Heal When Things Go Wrong is an excellent resource for the Lesbian Community or for psychotherapists working with lesbians in relational conflict.
Dan Mazer is a British screenwriter, TV/film producer, and comedian. He is best known as the long-time writing and production partner of Sacha Baron Cohen and has worked with him on such characters as Ali G and Borat. Mazer co-wrote and co-produced the films ALI G INDAHOUSE (2002), BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN (2006), BRUNO (2009) and THE DICTATOR (2012). Mazer attended Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School, where he met Baron Cohen. He went on to read Law at Peterhouse, Cambridge University. He was an active member of Cambridge Footlights while at university and was vice president from 1993 to 1994. His early work includes production roles on THE WORD, THE BIG BREAKFAST and THE 11 O'CLOCK SHOW. He also created, wrote, and directed DOG BITES MAN for Comedy Central. In 2007, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for co-writing BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN with Sacha Baron Cohen, Ant Hines, Peter Baynham, and Todd Phillips. In 2012, Dan wrote and directed feature film, I GIVE IT A YEAR, starring Rose Byrne, Rafe Spall and Stephen Merchant, followed this year by comedy pilot, LOVE IS RELATIVE, for NBC/20th Century Fox. Most recent work includes co-writing the latest feature instalment of the BRIDGET JONES franchise, BRIDGET JONES'S BABY, starring Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth, and directing feature film DIRTY GRANDPA starring Robert de Niro and Zac Efron. Lauren Costine, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist, executive, educator, author and activist who will be discussing lesbian love addiction and challenging the shared belief that we have won the battle for LGBTQ equality. She received her M.A. in Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles in 2001 and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2007. Dr. Costine believes in utilizing integrative psychotherapy in order to help her clients meet their treatment goals. Her focus is Addiction, Trauma, Codependence, Co-occurring Issues, LGBT-Affirmative Psychotherapy, Depth psychology, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, Narrative, and Eastern philosophies. She works with both individuals and couples and plays a key role in the feminist and LGBTQ community.Dr. Costine’s first book, Lesbian Love Addiction: Understanding the Urge to Merge and How to Heal When Things Go Wrong (November 2015) outlines her theory, while encouraging readers to develop an understanding of why lesbians merge and how to view traditional psychotherapy through a lesbian-affirmative lens in order to help themselves or their lesbian clients toward recovery from love addiction. The goal is to help lesbians with love addiction learn healthy dating — and eventually, the ability to sustain healthy relationships. This is precisely the thing all love-addicted lesbians crave, but often struggle for decades to achieve without help. Dr. Lauren Costine currently resides in West Hollywood, California.

The unabridged audio book version which she produced won Mom’s Choice, Reader’s Choice, and Reader Views awards. Published in 2008, Book Two, "The Trailfolk of Xunar-kun", won Reader’s Favorite and The Written Art awards.
Tina creates the cover art for her books and has published illustrations internationally in several books and other media. She has created a children's picture book, Snailsworth, a slow little story. In addition to writing stories, poetry and screenplays, Tina has been a freelance communications designer since 1995.
