Religion has been a source of both solace and suffering for many lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans. For while most LGBT Americans have been raised in an organized religion — and many continue to cherish their faith community — too many have been forced to leave those communities behind because of condemnation of LGBT people.
And yet in recent years, a growing number of organized religious groups in the United States have issued statements officially welcoming LGBT people as members. Many religious organizations also have taken supportive stands on the issues that affect LGBT people in America, such as the fight for freedom from discrimination, the solemnizing of same-sex marriage and the ordination of openly LGBT clergy.
LGBT Real Talk Radio welcomes the Rev. Valarie Oliver as our special guest for next weeks show on Religion in the LGBT Community. You won't want to miss this very informative show.

Charlotte View welcomes back our favorite Holistic Canadian Practitioner, Chris Kehler. Once again Chris will amaze our callers and listeners with his outstanding ability to use remote energy healing and his intuitively work with modalities such as dowsing, metaphysical tools, radionics and Quantum Touch.
During this show, Chris is 'Paying IT Forward' to the Holistic/Spiritual Community by inviting a selected group of Psychics, Mediums, Medical Intuitives, Life Coaches, Spirituals, etc who have lived in service for their whole existence and who agree with Chris that Energy Healing can be used for health problems so they instantly become a thing of the past.
Here is how Chris' protocol works:
He starts by using the pendulum and chart method of finding the area that the illness is
Finds what stressor is causing the illness.
Performs the energy work ~ He uses an array of different types of "tools" to neutralize the stressor in any particular area.
The energy from Chris' tools works just the same over the phone and Skype as it does if you were in-person.
Many communities strive to address issues of poverty and economic development, but the Kenwood Oakland Community Organization (KOCO) has actively maintained a vibrant community despite the infusion of drugs, guns, unemployment, and home foreclosings. This week it celebrates 50 years of success in motivating residents to remain actively involved in the lives of youth, elders, and all residents who desire a clean, safe, self sustaining community with good schools. Jeanette Taylor Ramann discusses some of the work that KOCO is doing in reaching out beyond its borders to connect with children abroad and spread the success that comes with cooperation between neighbors.

Each of us is a complex masterpiece who chooses to learn on a soul level through a primary core issue: self-worth, abandonment, or not trusting. We work out these issues by means of one of four major avenues for learning: our body, career, relationships, or finances. Together, these set the stage for the events that occur in our life; allowing us to come to a new understanding of who we know ourselves to be . . . and who we are becoming. Grace has talked about how this plays out in the Self Worth Core Issue, and she is back to discuss the other issues.
Grace will give case histories from her practice of individuals who attracted the perfect circumstances to learn through a core issue.
Grace Christian began practicing meditation while still in the corporate world, and believes it is what led her to the work she has been doing as a medical/spiritual intuitive for over 17 years.
Grace left the corporate world, and began studying healing. Eventually, she began to see images of areas of disease or illness inside the body of clients, as well as images indicating what caused the illness.
Other information began to come, such as images describing the person's unique gifts, what was happening on their life path, their soul’s core issue, and so much more.
Helping people learn to develop and trust their own intuition is one of Grace’s primary objectives as she feels it is imperative that each of us learn to use our whole brain to make wise choices in life and bring to us solutions to the complex issues that we face in our world.
In learning of others’ soul scenarios, we can better comprehend what is true for ourselves and understand why we attract the learning we do.
