I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1958 as the last of ten children. I have worked like most people, in several jobs and positions throughout my life. I have been a cook, caregiver, building custodian, interior designer, artist and writer. After retiring in 2010, I sold my home in Revere, Massachusetts and moved to Vero Beach Florida. I knew upon my retirement, I was planning to paint and write. When I got the idea to combine my writing and painting together in a book I had no idea how would the book be received. The book I created, “The Art of Thomas Rose”, is not only published, it is now for sale on Amazon.com and has been excepted into Amazon’s Select Category (September 12, 2014, World Wide Distribution, Print on Demand, on 13 Amazon sites around the world.) I have also exhibited my Artwork in Boston and Somerville, Massachusetts, The Vero Beach Museum of Art, The Regina Stark Gallery and Dale Sorensen’s for Friday Night Art Walk.
