I was born in South Africa; I am only a second generation South African. I have 400+ years of American blood flowing through me. I have lived through and seen the utter devastation in my country and have lost much through the brutal violence in South Africa like so many of my fellow folk.
I do not have a fancy education but I am a giver, I live to serve my God and my people. I am involved with South African Family Relief Project. I am directly responsible for clothing and feeding White South African Families that are in crisis.
My name is Niall Mac Áibaicín and I currently live in Co. Donegal, Ireland. I lived in South Africa for approximately 20 years until the end of 2009 and worked as a financial and budgets manager as well as an academic director in universities within South Africa, Switzerland and Germany. My area of academic work was in Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior. I specialized in Leadership and Emotional Intelligence. The last few years of my time in South Africa were spent working as a volunteer for an Irish government funded organization in KwaZulu-Natal setting up clinics for HIV, Aids and TB within a squatter camp and in a remote rural area.
Having married in South Africa and with two children who were born there, all of whom are now, thankfully, living in Ireland, I developed a great love for South African and its entire people. On the other hand I am glad that we do not live there any longer, given the rapid increase in rates of violence and murder within South African society.

It's Saturday night...time to get Down and Dirty!
Remember Antonio Bay of the coast of Oregon? How about Stevie Wayne from KAB radio? Remember the first time you actually realized The Fog could actually be creepy, frightening and fatal? Thanks to the Brilliance of John Carpenter and Debra Hill you just may not look Fog the same. The first time I saw it in the theaters, my friend and I exited the theater only to find a heavy fog had settled into South King County, Washington where I attended high school. When she dropped me off as we were saying our goodbyes outside halfway between her car and my front door we heard a strange noise from something hidden in "pea soup" fog that night. We grabbed each other as if embracing could somehow protect us. In later years we laughed about it, but it sure went a long way to the mystic and ambiance of the movie that night.
Join the discussion about the things that go bump in the fog and why simple weather events can instill so much fear. John Carpenter was a master at creating fearful tension with every day situations, but there are also relationship issues in the film that will be fun to discuss as well. See you there on Philmchology just beware!
A sensitive truely patriotic song , words and music by Warren Michaels to all who have served and serving now. We thank you for your service

Also, our resident Sports Chick, Laura Leigh, host of Down and Dirty Sports here on AltConRadio on Saturday nights will stop by for a few minutes to let us know what games to be watching for this weekend, her predictions, and a bit about what we can look forward to on her show tomorrow night.
SO, we have a GREAT line up, some awesome women stopping by (who will do their best to keep Hammy in line) and a ton of other stuff for you. So grab a cold one and join us at the bar. It’s Friday Night and we’re Getting Hammered!
Singer, songwriter and producer Dionne Kirby (professionally known as Dionne), is a contemporary soul-singing recording artist, whose songwriting skills caught the attention of Billboard, with her first EP release “Living In The Music”. Dionne has performed in various major cities throughout the U. S. including: New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Atlanta and has graced the stage with respected entertainers in the industry, such as Jennifer Holliday, Jillian Michaels, Tanya Blount and Niecy Nash. With her upcoming new album being released independently, Dionne will captivate audiences with her signature melodic vibrations and uplifting lyrical content.
A native of Dallas, TX, Dionne attended the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (also known as Arts Magnet), where former incomparable alums, singer Norah Jones and Erykah Badu attended. An avid writer, she earned the Editor-in-Chief role at Arts Magnet, where she was chosen for studio recordings with the acclaimed Dallas Black Dance Theater. Her classical training and vocal technique made her one of the sought-after upperclassmen at her school, where she acquired her first professional gig as a background singer, which steered her in the direction to perform at the prestigious Fairmount Hotel’s Venetian Room and invitation to sing at Carnegie Hall with her high school choir.
After graduating high school, Dionne attended Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, majoring in English and Education. Although she was an astute academic student, her desire to pursue her love for music increased. Following graduating from Lincoln University with her Bachelor’s degree, Dionne received opportunities to sing background for gospel star LaShun Pace and was lead vocalist for The Odyssey Big Band, singing jazz arrangements of Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole and Norah Jones.
