Tonight at 8PM on The Boiler Room: Many within the community feel that college life has a dark side that hides in the shadows. They fear that the liberalization of their kids / students leads to a drift from traditional beliefs and heritage, but worse, it leads to partying, the use of drugs, fornication, and a loss of virginity just to name a few things. Then: Tom Naemi discusses his journey through prison and coming to Christ in the process. Tune in tonight! Listeners are encouraged to call in with questions and comments at 347-857-3847.

I am an author for True Glory Publications based in Philadelphia, PA. My writing style is urban fiction with a twist. Nothing I do will ever be ordinary, I believe in going all out especially when it comes to creativity.
I am currently a college student at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and I am a double major in Sociology and Criminal Justice, with my graduation date being in December 2014. I enjoy writing, and finding new ways to express my creativity.
Not only am I a college student, I am a young entrepreneur a Virgin Hair Distributor.
I enjoy different things, and by different I mean, what society would consider weird. That's what sets me apart from other people. My mom has pushed me to write since I was in middle school, she knew I was good enough to be a published author! So here I am! Ny'Chel Dior!

Operation: Next Chapter is “working with Soldier’s Angeles Project: Valour-IT to provided 100 voice-controlled, adaptive lap-top computers for military personnel who have lost the use of their hands. Vietnam Veteran and author Cym Lowell will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of his latest novel, Jasper’s War, to purchase these individually adapted computers which cost $500 a piece. The laptops allow warriors who are healing from amputations, paralysis, eye injuries, burns and brain trauma to stay in touch with their family and their units during their recovery period.”
Cym Lowell "was born in Montana to academics and spent his youth traveling the world. To put it politely, he was an undistinguished student, rewarded with assignment to the U.S. Navy at 18. After two years in Vietnam, college and law school were a challenge. Being a veteran in the political turbulence of the late 1960s and early 1970s taught humility. Raising three children in the Midwest and Texas brought love and responsibility. An international tax practice in the financial crises of the past 40 years provided insight into motivations of actors on the global stage. Friends, clients, adversaries, and colleagues, like victory and defeat, added color and context. The result is a writer with a treasure trove of experience to frame compelling characters enmeshed in heart-thumping challenges." Cym Lowell is the author of The Gift, Riddle of Berlin and Jaspar's War.
We're under two weeks away from Boston College vs. Penn State in the 2014 New Era Pinstripe Bowl. We're also in the middle of a basketball season that's been pleasantly surprising. How could we choose which sport to cover?
Easy. We couldn't. So we're going to do both.
With the shadow and the excitement of the bowl game hanging over BC, we couldn't just turn that away, but at the same time, we can't avoid talking about the encouraging start by the hoopsters. So we're going to talk both on BCI Radio!
Be sure to tune in as we talk attendance, marketing, and excitement surrounding the bowl game. We'll analyze how this bowl game has been different from the rest, how the efforts of the administration are totally different, and what we can expect from both fan bases as we get ready for the bowl game.
We'll then transition to the hardwoods to start gearing up for the BC-USC game on Sunday. Hey, remember the last time these two schools met in any sport? That was exciting.
We'll have our guests on to talk this one through, and be sure to call in and voice your opinion at 646-200-0446!
