As discussed in a feature article in SOMA depending who you speak with, she may be the front woman in a heavy rock band, a writer for several magazines and blogs or organizer of political rallies. Yet, one thing Eleanor Goldfield is not is apathetic. Having witnessed the social juxtapositions of growing up in both Sweden & North Carolina and inspired by her socially conscious parents to stand up for what you believe, Goldfield has an insatiable drive to use her voice to challenge political corruption and social inequalities. In 2010, with friend and fellow musician Brian Marshak, Goldfield formed the band Rooftop Revolutionaries as a way to express social and political messages against the sound of hard, driving rock music. "Art has the unique ability to connect with people on the deepest of levels without feeling like an intrusion. People open themselves up to this art, music, photography, and then – they think. React. Do Something." Please join us tonight. Long time Activist, Coffee Party Newsroom Editor and Radio Host, Bobby Rodrigo's new show on "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" on Coffee Party USA Radio every Tuesday at 8:30PM. Money in Politics, the Political Party Machine and partisan blind allegiance is on full display as he advocates against the erosion of our Constitutional Protections in the name of corruption and tyranny. "If we focused on following the Constitution we would solve many of the ills of our society.” Offering a long list of guests from Political Organizations, Activism, Media and Artists Bobby invites you to join him every Tuesday at 8:30PM on Coffee Party USA Radio.
Maine is considered a key state to pass a marijuana legalization initiative and two groups are seeking to put an initiative on the November 2016 ballot. One is the Washington DC based Marijuana Policy Project which has funded successful legalization initiatives in Colorado and Oregon. The other is Legalize Maine, a local group which has a different approach to legalization and is working to put their initiative on the ballot. Why Maine is such a hot bed for marijuana legalization and how the two initiatives differ will be discussed by our first guest Campaign Coordinator for Legalize Maine Peter McCarrier.

Hal Lewis, founder and director of the recently opened Las Vegas Cannabis Information Center reviews how this remarkable about-face came into being and how the center is becoming Las Vegas’s hottest new attraction.
Marijuana munchies is the mantra, but far from sending users on a food binge, many report that marijuana can actually help in weight management and weight loss.
