Attorney Sarah Steele and writer Bennet Pomerantz discuss the subjects of the day.
The audience should know that although Ms. Steele is a licensed attorney, she is not offering legal advice in any capacity, is not establishing an attorney/client relationship with anyone listening to the show, and recommends that any listener of the show consult a local attorney for any legal advice they may require.
This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.
Today we also have special guest attorney Sharon Briley
Tonight we discuss the difficult issue of adults leaving children in cars, an event that sometimes leads to great tragedy. Some people are on the side of “no excuses,” saying that parental/adult responsibility should be enough to ensure the safety of the children that are in their care. Other people feel benevolence for the parents/adults left behind, stating that anyone can be forgetful or a victim of “autopilot,” and become victims of their own guilt once it is discovered that the child is irreparably harmed or passes away. Who is right? Is there a middle ground? Join Bennet and Sarah as they discuss this sensitive and controversial topic.
Not Enough Time? Not Enough Money? These are the two most used objections to getting involved with a home business -- not enough time and not enough money. How do you handle these objections? What is the best way to win at network marketing? Hear from Brandon Langer, SR VP of Symmetry Global. Brandon speaks at independent business partner events across the US and throughout the world. http://www.simplymagicwow.com
Much of the work of advancing women in the legal workplace falls on the shoulders of women. Most firms have women’s initiatives run by and for women, and these initiatives have great value. But they are not changing the norms, attitudes and biases that govern law firm advancement, leadership and rewards. Little significant change is possible at the top of law firms, where it really counts, unless those with power – men – take the lead and are accountable for it.

Please join Dave the Mystic on Monday, September 22nd at 8PM MDT with guest Joeaux Robey. After experiencing a Spiritual transformation in the form of a walk-in, Joeaux woke up one morning, quit her corporate job as an Internet Marketing Executive and began providing online marketing and promotion for people in the spiritual and self-help arenas. She works mostly with independent speakers and their teams, to assist them in marketing online webinars and live events, and to leverage their existing content by turning it into digital and printed products. As a certified user of InfusionSoft® software, she incorporates this powerful SMB (server message block) tool into marketing systems and online stores to expand revenues. To receive new customers through online channels (blogs and websites), for example, she creates nurturing ‘funnels’ through InfusionSoft—typically, sequences of warmly written and carefully targeted emails—that tie deeper connections between the speaker/client and the customer.
She represents Marilyn Harper and Adironnda & Company, Jennifer Hough and The Wide Awakening, and Karen McKy, and works with dozens of other spiritual teachers through Visionaries in Light (formerly Walk-ins Welcome), the annual spiritual conference she has co-created and co-produced since 2010. She is also a co-host on the radio show, Visionaries in Light Radio, and a speaker on the subject of Internet Marketing and SoulOPreneurship. She also does consulting for heart based businesses, and teaches online marketing and business courses.
She and her husband, Dave Robey, operate a Spiritual Retreat Center and B&B where they live, in Crestone, Colorado. Joeaux can be reached at email@example.com and FaceBook.com/SoulOPreneur.
