Tyris Lee (aka T. Lee) is more than just your typical up and coming rapper from the south. His Swagger and Artistry defines him as the next best thing. Born and Raised in the city of New Orleans where everyday life is about "The Hustle" helped him develop an ambitious nature. Raised in a single parent home in the Lower Ninth Ward (where crime was daily activity) helped develop the goal of breaking that poverty chain so that he would be able to present better opportunities for himself, as well as family and friends.
T.Lee is a hardworking artist who's music comes straight from the heart and life experiences that are sure to attract audience of all kinds. In 2012 T.Lee made headlines with the song titled "I'm The Shit" that was produced and written By T.Lee the song also gained a spot on the movie "Blood Out" which starred actors Luke Gross, Val Kilmer, and 50 Cent. In 2013 T.Lee also had another song "If I Don't Do Nothing" that has approved to be in a movie that has not yet been titled and was also contacted by Kittens Strip Club owner in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for rights to use his song "Take Another Shot" in a commercial. T.Lee has performed many venues and has had radio play as well as internet radio play has releasing his first single off his upcoming album titled "Closure".
AMC's hit zombie drama returns this Sunday with the FIRST half of season FIVE.
Brian Lowry of Variety gave the fifth season premiere a positive review, saying "After the (rather too) long and winding road to Terminus, “The Walking Dead” opens its fifth season in spectacular fashion, a dazzling adrenaline rush filled with suspense, righteous violence and, before it’s all over, genuine emotion. Imbued with cinematic touches, the only downside to this breathtaking episode is pondering what the creative brain trust can do for an encore. Still, AMC’s megahit finds itself in a very good place, from the current makeup of its ever-evolving cast to the latitude it has earned to take unexpected detours. Given the hype surrounding the series, it’s still impressive to see the producers deliver such a feast."
Join Casey Shapiro and Marc B. Lee's party as they RETURN to view The Walking Dead on AMC!
We'll host our weekly Viewing Party as well as one in our chat room during the show.

Tune in to The Gist of Freedom, The Black History Internet Radio show with host Shellie Gaines as we welcome Award winning Playwright & Author Gabrielle Pina! Gabrielle will talk to Shellie about her play "Letters From Zora" ~Starring Vanessa Bell Calloway. Letters From Zora is currently running at the crossroadstheatrecompany.org!
“Letters from Zora: In Her Own Words,” for which the meticulous and poetic Gabrielle Denise Pina, a novelist in her own right, collected Zora’s massive correspondence and crafted it into a monologue delivered at New Brunswick’s Crossroads Theatre with wit, sincerity, and majesty by Vanessa Bell Calloway.
Calloway’s feat of memory is stunning enough. In more than 100 minutes, without a chance to pause, let alone to stop for an intermission, the actress never stumbled, missed a cue for transition, or failed to articulate the genius, both as a writer, and as a woman determined to live independently according to her own principles, of Zora Neale Hurston.
Calloway’s performance is enchanting. Besides being fluid and heartfelt, it reminds us, thanks to Pina’s excellent editing and composition, how extraordinary and how pioneering Zora was.
Everything Zora for stood and fervently believed is revealed in Pina’s text, and Calloway magically embodies the grit and strongmindedness of Zora along with her femininity, abundant sense of humor, and disdain for anything false or condescending.
Yes, the words as Pina’s title tells us plainly, are Zora’s, but Pina is the one who had to take a volume of letters and make them into one cohesive, listenable and "entertaining" work."
