On today's show we have a special guest Sandra Dawn a medium, intuitive and Reiki practitioner. It was the death of someone close to her that led her to start questioning things. She had always known that she was different, but never fully understood what she was experiencing. Once she began to read and learn all she could about this she realized, she had been this way her whole life! She was unaware or asleep to the real self...but not anymore! Upon awakening this part of herself, she knew just what to share. What she has known instinctively for her entire life----that there is more than this particular time around and we are more than our physical bodies. We are a soul. We do go on. Our physical mode of transportation dies, but not our souls....We are so much more than we realize. Two of her greatest joys are (1) Bringing through your loved ones in spirit to give you proof that life and love transcends ALL!! (2) To help others realize what they are truly capable of with a simple change of perspective.

During his 25 year career in insurance, David L. Brown learned firsthand the challenges of running a small business. Including the number one reason businesses fail, which is failure to understand their market and their customers’ buying habits. David became a student of marketing, and knocked it out of the park with his first campaign, which brought in 20% more sales. When fellow agents saw the results, they said, “Hey Dave, you should be teaching this stuff.” This led him to write his book From the Bottom Up: The Ultimate Guide for Business Planning to Profitability. In 2012 David left the insurance business and started his own consulting business, D Brown & Company, pursuing his passion of marketing and helping others.
David is a firm believer in serving his community. He became a member of a volunteer board of directors for a community health center in 1987 and worked his way up the ladder becoming President of the Board of Directors for nearly 20 years. During his tenure the organization grew from a small health center to 4 locations in two counties with a budget over $11 million dollars. He was elected President of the Michigan Primary Care Association for two terms. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Community Health Centers. David’s work has earned him several awards from both the State and National Associations.
As his book title says, David knows what it’s like to learn “From the Bottom Up,” from starting a business to being President of a multi-million dollar organization. A consummate professional, David’s marketing skills continue to increase his client’s businesses by 20-25%.

Console Wars author Blake J Harris Live with Scott Cluthe
NPR: Best book of the Year !
Seth Rogen from the forward: "The "Console Wars" between Nintendo and Sega is what began a series of events that will lead to the end of humanity as we know it." (well of course!)
Console Wars—a mesmerizing, behind-the-scenes business thriller that chronicles how Sega, a small, scrappy gaming company led by an unlikely visionary and a team of rebels, took on the juggernaut Nintendo and revolutionized the video game industry.
In 1990, Nintendo had a virtual monopoly on the video game industry. Sega, on the other hand, was just a faltering arcade company with big aspirations and even bigger personalities. But that would all change with the arrival of Tom Kalinske, a man who knew nothing about videogames and everything about fighting uphill battles. His unconventional tactics, combined with the blood, sweat and bold ideas of his renegade employees, transformed Sega and eventually led to a ruthless David-and-Goliath showdown with rival Nintendo.
The battle was vicious, relentless, and highly profitable, eventually sparking a global corporate war that would be fought on several fronts: from living rooms and schoolyards to boardrooms and Congress.
Based on over two hundred interviews with former Sega and Nintendo employees, Console Wars is the underdog tale of how Kalinske miraculously turned an industry punchline into a market leader.
Blake J. Harris is a writer and filmmaker based out of New York. He is currently codirecting the documentary based on this book, which is being produced by Scott Rudin, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. He will also serve as an executive producer on Sony's feature-film adaptation of Console Wars.
