    A Tribute to Led Zeppelin & Elvis Presley with Kevin Oliver Jones & Mike Eder

    in Entertainment

    Being a multi-instrumentalist playing Guitar, Keyboards, Bass, Drums, Mandolin, Sax, Harmonica, Trombone and of course bass pedals Kevin Oliver Jones jumped at the opportunity to join Hats Off To Led Zeppelin and flit between the instruments as John Paul Jones, one of Kevin’s favorite musicians

    You’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time when you experience these four top class musicians recreating Led Zeppelin’s magical concerts. As well as being winners at the National Tribute Awards 2013 and the only UK tribute act officially endorsed by Marshall amplifiers they are proud to be co-managed by Warren Grant, the son of legendary Led Zeppelin manager, Peter Grant, who said after seeing them live: 'You guys really did the band justice!'

    Mike Eder is a writer and vinyl record aficionado, specializing in the music of the fifties, sixties, and seventies. His work has led to reviews and interviews for newspapers such as the Washington Post and websites such as Examiner.com. An Elvis fan since age six, he has written for over a dozen Presley publications. Other subjects Eder has covered include the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the First Edition and the Three Stooges. Most recently, he has been contributing to Erik Lorentzen's seminal series of books and magazines, the Elvis Files. He and his wife, Debra, live in Naperville, Illinois.

     Why is Elvis Presley's body of recorded work still so relevant nearly 60 years after he began recording? Elvis Music FAQ is for anyone who has been inspired by an Elvis Presley record. One might say that the only truths about Elvis Presley can be found in the grooves of his records, where his natural talent and passion for music comes through always.

    Rivers In a Desert Ministry

    in Religion

    Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

    2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

    3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

    4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

    5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

    6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

    7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

    8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

    9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

    10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

    Radiation Issues: Outside the Box Perspectives

    Lost Arts Radio Show on Saturday 1/24/15

    Listen or talk with us: 657-383-1002

    9PM EST / 6PM PST

    Tell Your Friends!

    This coming Saturday we bring you a show very different from most shows on the subject of radiation and nuclear issues. Two super guests bring their unique perspectives to share with us and the results are mind-expanding. One top level nuclear expert and one test pilot who was assigned to fly through mushroom clouds of nuclear explosions both spend time with us to share what they have learned.

    Dr. Christopher Busby (www.chris.busby.exposed), world renowned chemical physicist and nuclear expert who has been often interviewed on the details of the Fukushima disaster and other growing nuclear dangers in our world gives us an insight into his personal feelings on the world of science, the state of humanity and the need for a new kind of education in an interview recorded last week from his home in Latvia. This is a rare chance to sit in on an informal personal visit with Dr. Busby that you won’t want to miss.

    Captain Gary Pylant (www.INSKYTechnologies.com), nuclear test pilot came up with an outside the box solution to the nuclear contamination he got from his job as well as the chemical exposure he got as a pilot applying agricultural poisons as a crop duster from the air. His story is extraordinary, and is meant to inspire you and remind you that your immune system can protect you to an amazing extent from all kinds of environmental threats, if you know how to activate it. Join us for a one of a kind unscripted conversation with Captain Pylant. Hear about what led to his discoveries, how he applied them, and how you can use the same tools to successfully overcome health challenges in your own life.

    A Conversation with Gary "US" Bonds

    in Lifestyle

    As America’s baby boomers moved into their mid teens, Gary began his professional career. For his first hit, "New Orleans," attention was brought to the record by having promotional copies sent to radio stations in sleeves inscribed "Buy U.S. Bonds" - hence at age 19, Gary Anderson became Gary U.S. Bonds.

    The follow-up was the now legendary 'party' record, “Quarter to Three,” a number one hit with a spirit and energy that would eventually inspire and influence a generation.

    Over the next three years, Bonds co-wrote and recorded hit after good-time hit: ”School is Out," "School is In," "Dear Lady Twist," "Twist, Twist Senora," "Seven Day Weekend" and others. He performed throughout the world, rising to a status so high that on a 1963 tour of Europe, he headlined above a group of relative newcomers… The Beatles.

    A rare distinction for Gary is that he managed to transcend the decades with hits. His inspiration for Bruce Springsteen and Steven Van Zandt, who had grown up on Bonds' music led to a chance meeting in 1980. A friendship developed and, shortly after, a musical collaboration which resulted in Bonds' "Dedication" and "On the Line" LPs, with singles: "This Little Girl Is Mine,” "Out of Work," "Jole Blon" and "Daddy's Come Home". Reviews noted “…His gritty, soulful and powerful vocals… even better than before…”  A Rhythm & Blues Foundation honoree and a genuine treasure of American music.
