It's difficult to separate yourself from your readers but it's a step every writer must make. There has to come a point when you can no longer afford to invest in the acceptance of strangers and learn that the only person you truly have to please with the words you write is yourself.
Jilly James will be joining me tonight and we'll talk about the paths we took to get where we are today.
Once you know better, you do better.” Dr. Maya Angelou
Once you begin to explore why some past painful relationships didn’t last, you may be able to see the role you had in contributing to the creation of that experience:
Maybe you overlooked something you shouldn’t have.
Maybe you tried to convince yourself you could make the unworkable work.
Maybe you stayed too long in a relationship out of fear of being alone.
But you did those things because you wanted love. You wanted to love and be loved in return. Your role in what happened came from a pure place.
It’s time that you finally forgive yourself:
Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know.
Forgive yourself for not seeing what you didn’t see.
Forgive yourself for abandoning your heart, your needs or your voice.
Forgive yourself for all of it.
On tonight's show Rosie is going to discuss guilt and forgiveness. Forgiving yourself is much harder than forgiving someone else. When you're carrying around a sense of blame for something that has happened in the past, this guilty feeling can cause a never-ending sense of unhappiness. Forgiveness is a process. It does not happen over night and the process will be different for everyone.
Tonight's show is sponsored by Blended Herbal Treasures at www.bhtshop.com.
Rosie will be accepting calls the last hour of the show. Call in early for the queue fills quickly. The call in number is 1(714)888-7516. You can contact Rosie for a private reading by email at Rosalea88@gmail.com.

Tonight I want to share my experience today of loving yourself free through musical expression. I got the honor of witnessing a beautiful musical performance Anna's Way part II with Bass player Barry Green and an extarordinary group of musicians in a friend's home. It was an eperience that held many lessons of loving myself free. It was followed by a discussion with the friend who invited me about the human condition and our spiritual evolution of state through loving ourselves so completely that we experience a wholeness in our epressing ourselves as Souls as divine beings having a human experience. Please join me. I would wish that I will be able to impart even the smallest experience of the beauty of today's lessons.
Join us today on Women Leading the Way Radio as Michelle Bergquist, your host of Women Who Lead, interviews Kate Carroll, Director of Global Process at Ingram Micro.
Kate brings us a discussion from the corporate women’s point of view! Kate has seen many forms of management & leadership development programs. Kate’s current hot button is driving learning programs that drive results. She focuses on those that are preparatory for taking on a larger role in the org. Those that provide exposure to concepts and business scenarios while offering related projects within the business are the best. It combines the educational and experiential and helps weed out participants who are not ready. It can be a very complex environment, but one where women ARE on the front lines.
Kate has a long standing career with the same employer that grew like crazy through the tech boom, and because of that, she has had tons of opportunity to learn new things, transfer around the organization, try roles outside her comfort zone, and advance. The growth trajectory meant she was often acting quickly to market needs and valued associates who were adaptable, inclusive, and creative. Mentors have had a large impact for her, from her mother to professional advocates!
As the CEO and Co-Founder of Connected Women of Influence, Michelle Bergquist is a passionate advocate for women in business. At Connected Women of Influence, we believe that more women need to lead in business and everything we do is center-focused on designing platforms, programs, connections and collaborative opportunities for b2b women to prosper, succeed and lead the way in business today!
